Yes Trish, you could always tell the really good stuff. You would wake up in the morning, still sat in your armchair with a half smoked joint between your fingers.

Research has proven that the only effective policy for curtailing drug use is treatment, and not criminalization. Drugs are not illegal because that is an effective way of dealing with them, drugs are illegal because it is a lucrative way of dealing with them. The black-ops section of our government is the true benefactor of any policy that criminalizes drug use rather than treating it as a health issue.

Yep, and the wierdest is that the criminalisation of hemp ran right alongside the discovery of nylon - the DuPont family made billions from this............

that's right Trish.
have you heard Jello Biafra's (orig.Dead Kennedys vocalist) spoken word albums, i think it's number 4 that has a bit called "grow more pot", he mentions the DuPont family, then goes into one about the savings we could make if we made paper out of hemp (imagine if the almighty dollar was made of hemp! ) check it out!

Yes Jason, Jello Biafra's spoken word album should perhaps be made compulsory listening for some around here.
bodleing: I've read all of this thread with interest, but it never ceases to amaze me there are still people about with such outdated and blinkered opinions.
Well? Says who? You? Sorry, if I just don't even blink on this very generalized, unprofessional answer. If you want to insult me, do it with some arguments. Please....
Conrad73: And why should I try condemn you, since you have most likely a better understanding of the problem, than most of the Posters in this Thread, and are actively trying to do something about it?
You don't have to.
Just no prejudice. It works.
(PS: I would probably reacted on your "so called" comment. My religion would be on my profile, if it would be on the drop down list. But I like when people treat it with respect, with the same respect as I treat other religions. And, one more thing, religion is one's belief, and not one's personality)

Sorry I have tried to give you my reason why I believe all drugs should be legalized. I am also trying to see where others are coming from. Coming back to; make ALL drugs legal!

As far as all drugs being legal. I don't know. 1.Meth-definitely not. 2.Cocaine- I put alcohol and cocaine in the same category, because they are both equally addictive and destructive. So if alcohol is legal, why not cocaine. 3. Heroine- No. I think that, is an import we could do without. It more than any other drug, directly funds terrorism through Afghanistan's poppy production. And for all of you people who make comments about; oh there goes another soft brain druggie or whatever. If you drink at all then you need to shut the hell up. Because alcohol is more harmful to the brain than cocaine, and is responsible for more deadly accidents and incidents of assault and domestic violence than ANY other drug. So, if we are going to be a drug free society, lets start with alcohol. Because anyone who screams about how bad drugs are, but drinks alcohol, is an IGNORANT HYPOCRITE.
tufty: Try telling that to a brain dead dopehead Or a brain dead dopehead thats just ran into you while driving a car.....
See there you go again with the brain dead dopehead crap. What about the braindead alcoholic that kills hundreds a day? What about those a**hole? Do you drink?
I like what you said about pot in your previous post but have to disagreeon the coke and alcohol issue - alcohol is much more addictive than coke, by far - i have had lots of experience with both of these substances but do have to agree, if one of them is legal why not both... heroin, well, that keeps the black market rollin an they aint about to let that go....... I drink and love a joint but see no reason why I aught to shut the hell up - but do see your point about ignorant hypocrites al the same..........
