Atheist

Everybody has a soul, if you did'nt,you would not exist. The soul is what indwells the earthly body that we all have. Our earthly bodies are nothing more than shells in which our spirit lives. When the body wears out ie, ages, it stops functioning and the soul leaves this shell. I believe, through faith, that the soul never dies, but lives on. But that is my faith, your faith may tell you something else.
Faith tells me George Washington was the first President of the United States, even though I never personally met or spoke with him. I go to bed at night, with faith that I will awake in the morning and the world will still be here; even though we are doing our best to destroy it with the decisions we make every day. Faith tells me there are people who will disagree with what I am writing, but their lack of faith does'nt make it any less real or true.

I think you should try to reason less and exercise faith more. You have a heart, a stomach, lungs and ribs; you can not physically see them in your body, but that does not alter the fact that they are there. If you were to really stop and think about it, virtually everything we do in life requires some sort of faith.
When you go to sleep, faith tells you that you will awake again. If that were not so, you would never go to sleep again. when you get out of bed, faith tells you there is a floor to put your feet on etc etc.

Much of that I ascribe to biological processes and physical law
of gravity. It says in the Bible that the faith of a mustard seed
can move mountains. Yet I have yet to see a mountain moved
by faith. Faith can changed the mind to solid convictions but
reality is still reality unaltered.

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.

I don't think I have ever met a resolute Atheist. A person who does not believe in something intangible
that sustains Life and Love. This is a case where I would think it would be a black or white, no
shades of grey belief without options.
Would if be possible that some people would want to rethink their definitions of how they would
describe their belief system?
As for me...my concepts/perceptions change all the time contingent upon added information.
