I had "stuff", lots and lots of "stuff". Nowdays I have a few things and a wee bit of stuff. "Stuff", is gone at the drop of a match, I have learned it is no longer important.
What I have that is important is me and people that love me. That can never be taken away..
I have iron, and many tons of it. Tools, cars, trucks, motorcycles and all sorts of other mixcellanious metal in various states and sizes.
Not sure how many LPs I have, but I'm sure it's 300 plus and well over 1000 cassettes, only about 80 CDs. Yes I have a turntable, an old Telefunken, and it works very well.
what kind of motorcycles do you have and are they for parts. i need a crank ror a 97 suzuki 800
Indyfella: Trying to corner the iron market then have a big sell off.......gee this sounds familiar.
No, it comes and goes. Some stuff gets fixed, some gets scrapped. It's just a fascination with machines that I've had as far back as I can remember. In the end, it's just "stuff' and I'm having a wholesale cull due to moving, hence less stuff, but I am taking my tools with me, and maybe a couple model A's, and.......
Sorry Chevy, nothing for your bike, but ask rwantin (Robert), he might know someone.
I have 6,000 pieces of antique/vintage jewelry and have been wearing the same pair of earrings since 2001 because too many choices is too overwhelming.
I've been more and more selective about what I keep around anymore. I notice more beauty in my surroundings without all that stuff. Finding simplicity dismisses much confusion - not only in 'stuff' but all areas of my life.
Galactic_bodhi: Sorta my point ship. Junk people throw away. Stuff, sticks around. I'm trying to find out the source of adhesive for stuff in our lives.Elmer's Stuff-glue?

~~~I try not to have "stuff", if I haven't worn it, or used it recently I get rid of it, donate it if it's wearable or usable. I don't buy things I don't need...
***will confess I do save cards...you know the kind people give you for your birthday or so say they miss you etc. But I do NEED them, when I feel down they always make me feel better
Thank you. It was quite easy. I woke up one morning and decided it couldn't be as difficult as I had always made it out to be. I found an amazing website that took into account a variety of factors about me, my lifestyle, how much I wanted to lose and how fast, and it then told me how much I should eat and how much I should exercise.
So basically, I eat 1300-1400 calories a day (was eating WAY too little), walk 2 miles 7 days a week, run 2 miles 3 days a week, reduce sodium, and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.
Galactic_bodhi: I've got stuff, woo hoo, Do you have stuff, you?I've got weapons and music instruments, and DVD's, and laptops and desktops,
And candle wax and kings.
Okay people its time to talk about your things.
What stuff? Your stuff? How much? Too Much? Shout it out, There aint No doubt We've all Got STUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!
I have way too much stuff, other people's stuff that I'm now trying to go through and sort to eliminate...trash, yard sale or eBay...so that I can bring my stuff out of storage and sort through it too. So, what did I do for the first several months after my husband died? Bought more stuff! Anybody want to help me sort through mountains of stuff?!
