I doubt she's a goth and neither am I but I went on the site because I think goth people are cool. I've been talking to her for the past week passing comments back and forth and talking on AOL. Some of the comments she has made has me wondering if she is attracted to me. She said "I enjoy you" and things like that. She seems happy for the most part when she talks to me. She even asked me to call her. Maybe she is being friendly and I am taking it the wrong way.

I'm afraid that I interpreted what she said in the wrong way or I'm afraid that she's giving off signs and I am totally missing what she is trying to say. I guess you could say I am afraid of rejection or scaring her away because she wouldn't like me and would know how I feel. Maybe I shouldn't be so afraid. I just haven't known her that long (a week) and she just got out of a relationship so I don't know how ready she would be to get involved in another one.
Maybe if she does like me we can try to take it slow since she got out of a relationship not too long ago.

Thanks! I just hope this time that this girl likes me and I'm not thinking that her being nice means that she likes me. I guess if heart break happens, it happens. I just have this feeling by the way she talks to me that there's some kind of attraction.

Ok, a bit of advice from an old fart who's been there:
Be completely honest with her. Tell her "Ok, here's the deal: I'm a somewhat unsure/insecure 19 year old walking errogenous zone and I don't know anything at all about women and an old, long-haired cowboy dude from another site tells me that I never will. But I like the way we've been talking and I'm not psychic, so forgive me for asking but... Just out of curiosity, what do you think of me so far?"
To use a sports analogy - You've already made it to the batter's box, so you might as well go ahead and step up to the plate and swing. If her pitch was meant for you, and the timing of your swing is right, you might just hit it out of the park!
P.S. There's a chance that you might strike out, but there's always another inning coming up and even more chances to swing for the bleachers.

I guess my experience with "feeling" something for someone prior to meeting them has always turned out badly. Now I refuse to delve into the possibility of romance before I meet someone,
I´m happy to talk to men and flirt and get to know them well enough to decide if they are someone I would like to meet... but that´s as far as it goes. When we meet we can take the romance from there, if the potential exists...
So I guess what I´m saying is that I can´t know beyond friendship if we´re on the same wavelength or not.

Helloooooooooo not enough time to know anything..
Just becos she spews out nice words dont mean anything...
She could/may be talking to others the same way...
Do some more studiing and talking and just have some good old fashion talking..laughing..
You really cant say either you or her having feeling in only a week..
That is not enough time to know much about that person..
You go with ur gut feeling...you said you dont want to say something and then her not liking you..or you may upset her..
Take ur time..with no expectations..
