hmmmmmmm, I know that for me, I live just outside of town and end up driving everywhere. Walking can be pretty scary, unless it is during the day in the summer time.
I also lived a poor and "food deprived" childhood. I don't remember much of it, but I do remember that every ounce of food count. So what was on your plate must be eaten or you got in trouble for wasting food. That concept has stuck w/ me. It's hard to just stop when I know I have had enough.
I have started eating smaller amounts. Or if I have more the I need . . . I share w/ my dog. It helps. Now I just need to get into the gym.
big part of it is costper unit of food ..i used to live in north yukon .i had a family to feed i would drive to ankorage alaska with 5000 $ can @ over 85% exghange spend 4 days on the trip,pay the gas and hotel room ,food for 5 and at the end of the trip figured i saved about 1500 and had a bit of a holliday too boot.. then the americans got all evcited about terrersts so i didnt go no more ..i just feed me now but that was then
