Seesaw

they go back-n-forth
love me...go away,
love 'n go away
needing and bleeding,
wanting and daunting
crying and flaunting

why to love this manner
of existence, does not
time age the foolish
actions we make to spite
the noses that we face

who knows why we do
and talk in cryptic ways
the enigmatic to eschew
how love's heart dismays

the comic and drama both exist
loving cut and soul is kissed
hands and arms, lies and charms
sold the soul, bought the farm

back and forth, forth and back
why do humans behave so
a loving peace, then attack
hold another close, to only let go

the fulcrum may be the bow of Cupid
so great is our self held pride
but sapiens often lean to stupid
great enough to let love die

Very perceptive and strongly evocative and revealing of human nature which has lost faith in itself..., innured by years of unhealed trauma..., thanks Goodguy...

Ty for sharing your insights GG.

Maybe one day there will be less Seesaw and a little more Yin Yang ...

Incredible piece, really, stunning poetry and philosophy. Philosopoetry? I don't know why; perhaps because it usually is not a true soul mate, we are really looking for ourselves, because of the ego?
A note from the editor would be helpful.cool bowing writing

Dear Good Guy, you well know what love and its games are! Don't complain! You too come with me and let's get drunk!
