I scaled the heights and crossed the genre over Rock and Pointillism Springstein and Seurat on dotted i some critic cries aloud echo canyoned schism
to each his own we together bemoan separation of our malaise individuality's good 'long as it's understood we're all different in artful ways
the beholder can only seize on concepts predisposed to sight the I's of art that you appease each concept I hold despite my own presupposed expertise that much art leans toward contrite or worse, tries not to displease some need to be artfully polite
art is what you say it is who am i to tell you that your idea, your creation is not worthy of the tag of "art" so shake my sensibilities shock my gentilities move the foundation of my soul make a hole, drop it in, make it whole

Like beauty art is also beautiful and lies in the eyes of the beholder, great poem as usual.
I agree, individuality is as good as there is understanding of difference between us. We can see what we are capable of seeing, though there are some who can do better and see beyond mere understanding, being endowed with special perception and vision of art. Where art is for pleasing, accommodating to needs or staying within conventional it becomes a commodity fit for the walls of fashionable houses. If equipped with relevant knowledge we can appreciate and see the difference, like the ones endowed with much aptitude. Knowledge of art makes us free - free to enjoy it. Art can not be contained, same as a moonbeam on a palm. Yes, each piece of art enriches and makes us whole, I see your point, each piece contains a grain of truth, which distinguishes it from others: it is this uniqueness which alerts senses and finds its way into hearts. Many thanks for sharing this gem of wisdom!

You are not only a wonderful poet, but you are a philosopher as well. Simply ingenious!

The whole poem is great, but the last verse is the heart. free said a lot in his comment that I agree on, but we are all different between life and death. There is art. And life and death is art. Keep writing these LOVELY POEMS.
