I see you

I see you everywhere
And yet you're not there
Faces, places.....all have traces
The silhouette lines of my gazes
Misty steam, sunbeams, serene streams
Blue jeans, new scenes, sweet dreams
In clouds, shrouds, crowds
I often call your name out loud
Streetcars, glass jars, reflections from afar
In cars, bars, constellations in the stars
The outline of your hair,
Your profile haunts me as I stare
I see you everywhere
But you're not really there
I see you on the bus
And think of the two of us
I see you in a limousine
And realize it's just a daydream
I see you in a movie queue
Stop and prey....but that's not you
I see you everywhere.... I know
Because I still love you so
Memories that just....... won't let go.

Very well descrived Andrew "imprint of a picture on the back of your retina". Obviously you have been there, or probably always will be there to a certain extent. The mind is a strange mechanism...gets these endless loops going sometimes.
