Dream a Dream

Sad and sorry sight you are
Sagging round the edges
Gutters hanging, rusted roof
Windows sightless staring
Mortar crumbling, cracking walls
Floorboards creaking, groaning
Weeds in garden overgrown
Fencing missing and broken

Yet there you sit so patiently
Waiting to be discovered
To dream a dream
And give you love
To bring you back to life
Once again a joyous home
For a brand new family

It soundS like this person is looking in on the window of hope, yet their life seems ever more dim at present, waiting for the light of a brand new day to conquer the old day,DREAM A DREAM...applause applause applause applause
