TIME IS A TYRANT
Time is tyrant in sense,
If you think it’s that bad,
If you build walls and dams,
And enclosures in head.
Time will seem to be such,
If your choice is unwise,
If you think fading looks
Is what matters in life.
Life’s bright colors do fade,
Suffice look in your glass,
No immunity’s gained,
No such favors from Time.
Time is tyrant or ... plus,
It depends on our stance,
Judge by deeds good and kind,
How you fared on life.
Time is tyrant in sense
When it makes us regret,
Brings sad memories back,
Seems no better for that.
I agree that Time's hard,
Nothing’s harder than that,
But don't ever succumb,
Keep it up or you’re dead!

Just a little encouragement for a change. Borrowed this title from the thread title of an Indian CS member, for which I am thankful to him.

So agree keep it up or your dead
Time is tyrant or ... plus... Thanks for painting the two faces of time. Oh, were time to replace external beauty with wisdom, we might all be able to live with that!
If you think it’s that bad,
If you build walls and dams,
And enclosures in head.
Excellent poem Marikia
