They say death is not the end
That life still carries on
Not the same as before
But in a different way

They say angels dance round your head
That time when death draws near
Waiting there so patiently
Till death finally appears

They say when death has kissed your brow
And time that you move on
Guiding angel there for you
To the pearly gates beyond

They say when you reach these pearly gates
A massive book of life
If you believe in Jesus Christ
Your name be in there

They say that Jesus Christ comes out
To take you in His arms
Opens up the pearly gates
To take you up inside

But how do I know

They say in Heaven one can find
A life of bliss eternal
All the things your heart desires
And more the Father gives you

But how do I know

They say in Heaven life is eternal
With Jesus you are reigning
Sitting there with Him on throne
And you there at His right hand

But how do I know

This I know Because God has said
His word is never changing
