Spreading Sunshine

They come and go and you serve them all
With a face that looks like thunder
Never a smile or kindly word
Or just a simple, how are you

I cannot stand to let it go
Your mood I need to alter
A friendly smile, a quick hello
And ask how has your day been

Though gesture small, results are big
Your mood it changes instant
I'm happy now, I did succeed
To spread a little sunshine

About this poem:
Too often we take for granted those who serve us. How easy it is to spread a little sunshine.
