Ok Boysh,
Now you come from Canada right...how come you're writing about beaches?
Now come on Macduff...we are not in perpetual snow here in CaNerda. Actually I have a cottage a stone's throw from the longest freshwater beach there is. The sand and sunsets at Georgian Bay are world renown....for a couple of months of the year....lol.

Distant land slowly fades to haze Colourful umbrellas dot the shoreline In the final throes of summer days The sun sinks into the dark blue skyline
This to me is a happy poem...though rather poignant too...sounds like England summer at an end...though at the moment we are having an Indian Summer...loved your poem
Thanks Odette. The beach is always nice when it is warm. Getting a little cool now here though in Ontario...and too much darn rain...arghh!

boyshchrm: Loved the beauty that you have created in this poem of sun, sand, sea and beach scenes.I love sitting on the rocks gazing at the sea watching all that goes on,on the beach.
