Her eyes are brighter then a morning sun They burn with soft flames of desire Has the greatest love of my life begun My heart is on burning smoking fire Lifting a hand to shield her face I shun Too breathless to speak afraid to enquire My whole body shakes inside I am stunned Beauty too brilliant to behold or aquire I awake like a dream in a harrowing run The ground is lifting me higher and higher Far above the clouds my whole body is spun Then no fear for what next must transpire With deep breath I just smile with fun "Pardon me Miss but have we ever met prior?"
Her eyes are brighter then a morning sun They burn with soft flames of desire Has the greatest love of my life begun My heart is on burning smoking fire
I never knew how romantic men could be...till I started writing poetry 9 yr ago. I was brought up around men who never showed their feelings. Such a lovely poem Yankee.
