~They say~

Your life's written
on the palm of your hand
once upon a time, ten to many
..............
..............
a story in brand.

Crows come to roost
while your eyes are in blink
gravity, it grabs hold
while your bodies in sync.

Letters, they suffer
in diminishing size
distinguished in mind, says
its never the eyes.

Discount is offered
as you try to check out
a babe that's sixty
while you just want to shout.

Skin it once sat so proud
on your frame
calendars wrong
while your mind is to blame.

They call you a bluetop
why would that be
my minds at a desk
while you dribble your pee.

The last time we saw
each other about
you called me Bill
that....that guy with foot gout.

Remember that time
when the Queen came to town
I said no, in reply
you said I, wore her crown.

Eight fingers tight
as two thumbs roll around
your vision to thought
sits on top of a mound.

At 20 years old
I could climb up that hill
delusional thoughts
they now conquer, my will~
