Reawoken

There
was a
time I would
not cry, nor would
I love, I was dead
inside, dry and shrivelled.
this was before I met you
you who changed my life and brought me
out of this darkness, gave me reason
once more to hope and live, find love again

Yes, it looks like a pyramid ... yet surviving the content.
I also like experimenting with form .teddybear

Was doing a quick fly by as I'm off to the states tomorrow! I saw this and had a peek - it's a pyramid and it's more than a pyramid it's a lovely poem indeed. Often when these shape poems are attempted the content is compromised for the shape. I see no compromise here Steve, I see a lovely poem and I enjoyed the read.
