the blue sky rumbles with intent as darkness invades the steamy hot summer's day large drops tap gently on the roof slowly ......purposely but teasingly the humidity is soothed to a cool freshness tempering my mood to follow as the earth lays in wait aching to be bathed my senses dance with delight embracing the change its long overdue an eagerness lies etched in the faces of many dark clouds have threatened before and have passed by without cause flashes of colour emit from the sky fuelling hope as i eagerly wait for the tempo to speed up waiting forever waiting anticipating i ponder how beautiful it is before it finally rains..........

Being in a tropical climate we don't have the very cold weather of winter. But the rains are always welcomed as it brings new birth to the land. I like how you constructed this one Nu :). Nicely crafted!

Nu and Kathy, this is beautiful..Of course your weather is very similar from ours in Hawaii and I can relate to it..
We are in the later part of fall here with winter about 34 days away. We did have some snow last week that lasted about three days. Today it is raining on and off with a Bears game in Chicago delayed due to severe storms.
Hi Poet ......yeah mate we are very similar in climates ....this season has been exceptionally dry though and everyone has been hanging out for some rain......glad you liked it ........regards Nu
