the usual places

I hear your voice in
this side of my mind
that place you've been
with thoughts entwined

my eyes close slowly
to gaze at your face
your smile seen wholly
a warm state of grace

as imaginary arms I wrap
you tightly in time missed
the space that fills the gap
your lips are lightly kissed

you're at the usual places
that my mind's eye embraces

Lovely poem, it is sweetly sensual and a bit sad but that is what makes it so good. I enjoyed reading this. applause

Hi there. I've been to that place so I've a good idea about it. Not unlike a great many people I expect! Lovely.
Disadvantage
my eyes close slowly
to gaze at your face

very nice
