Some words shut you out.
Others build an icy wall between,
frozen block upon frozen block—
not unkind, simply formidable—
to dismiss the connection.
Ah, but no words—
therein lies the dagger!

very good, watch out for the quiet ones. Why does the man with the beat up face look intimidating when it should be the one who gave it to him!!.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to share your comments. I really appreciate hearing from you. I posted this in response to Earlgreytea's Sanibonani... post about shunning. Like Jazzy, I hope that words point to the truth. And, like boyshchrm6, I think words have meaning within context - with the context of the listener perhaps being paramount. After all, that's what communication is. To hedistuff, there is nothing wrong with hot water! And, back to Earlgreytea, in the end it's the connections that matter. Thank you all for that!
