on the slow glide

it's really not like
fallin' at all
more like cautious approach
downwind of the runaway
lookin' to align to you
my glidepath adjusting
talkin' to my controller
do i have clearance?
can i get on your runway?
glide ratio is pretty good now,
two to one
i don't want to overshoot
i don't want the trucks
coming out for me
i don't wanna crash short of you
ok, check my flaps, my speed ok?
turning now, on final approach
radio chatter unclear static
repeat, repeat ...over
do you love me?...over
i love you...I'm comin' in.

Brilliant, funny and quite poignant write about a very tricky topic, when on earth do you know when to make a move? I hope the weather is fine, there are no birds on the flight path and your wheels set down in perfect position, make sure the tarmac does not have any other planes parked and above all, don't run her over when landing !super thumbs up
