The real extent of the damage is never known until the haze of war has cleared and all is revealed. The real nature of the enemy can be shocking and the damage so much greater than realized while numbed and poisoned. Only after the divorce do you really know just how deep was the dagger in your back.
Look at our birth - does it ever seem a curse? Or a miracle that happens - nothing more? Does our time go on endlessly - or worse? Or does full life time break us like a whore? All that I hope, - is we should find some peace - All that I hope,
I was inspired to write this poem after countless misunderstandings with my dearest mother in which we were both equally wrong. The thorny way of life and sudden changes gave rise to the rose that in second stanza becomes a symbol of mothers love. No matter how much I have meaninglessly hurt her she was always there and always is... The third stanza refers rather to things that remained unsaid still awaiting to be mentioned.
A mystery.
Kidding around is part of life. For some, however, that's all they ever do. Ever wanting to be the center of attention they become locked into a cycle of approval seeking that keeps them stuck. They never mature.
