Written on Halloween night, of course. I just took an idea I had and ran with it. I have since converted it to a song. I just realized I left a verse off. Fixed now.
BOO! Halloween Night some fun, before the real fun starts!
Moon peeking through the clouds To see what's happening below Ghouls and goblins roam around And rotting mummies move so slow Witches with their brooms zoom around While ghostly specters haunt The living dead along streets shuffle Their ghas
Life is an adventure... Without it Life is a grey coloured cat- suit...
Spices scent the dusty winds Whistling across this narrow street Sweet meats glowing like blocks of light In the crowded shops Saree clad women walking past Gladly With eyes glowing as a ramzan crescent. Making music with their laughing bangle
I felt much better after I got it all off my chest.... and that I made people laugh.
what then been painted behind child's eye as streams burn bright through colored sky lighting heavens high to commemorate are common tie as people born from liberty's thigh raised on milk of freedoms cry
Gracefully, the end of one thing marks the beginning of another. To this side and across the pond, greetings are sent from sister to each sister and brother. https
The mission is for us to be transported from our desk, living room or bedroom to a place we haven't been. Accompanying visuals and images most desirable and most welcome! And if you'd rather create a video to go with it..even better. Thank you once again... I'd like to see what everyone thinks... Keeping my fingers-crossed...
wanted to write something. The ladies coming to the tomb and speaking with the angel was the only thing I could picture in my mind. Have a nice day all.....much love...ELO
A Bit Of This and That Since early childhood he had been wandering the world vast treks completed mainly on foot, some like in days of old walking in the footsteps of Stanley and listening to tales told of safari's into the depths of the dark
The Birds - Of Spring They Sing - They Sing!
Colored my Easter eggs yesterday. Enjoy making them every year. I get a Betty Jane hollow bunny every year with Peeps, Cadbury eggs, and jelly beans. When I was a child I would save my chocolate bunny in the freezer and shave off some of the chocolate with a knife to make it last a long time.
Spring in my step So soft to the touch Hug me and squeeze me You love me as much I love to be tickled I find it so funny But gently my master I'm just a wee-little-Bunny...
Dedicated for my Birthday.. No candle, no cake, my daughter is sick, got engaged with my job, tied on my future plan... I feel blessed for all I have so far.
Blue sky beautiful transparent sun the wind blows through the life as the seagulls dance in the sky dipped ocean.the water as pure as rain.the kids swimming about and having fun.as the smell of fires come our way.then from day into night. Sleeping un
a happy christmas to everyone
This song is a parody of Monster Mash by Tim Cavanaugh. With Ash Wednesday starting the Easter holiday, I thought it was a funny parody.
Another rest day bit like a holiday for most, many spend this day in praise of the Lord or with families, friends, loved ones. Many also spend the time alone with their thoughts, maybe no home, no refuge, no tangible meaning of life but we all exist, I can eat my fill but others cannot and even having faith or not life trundles on like another Sunday.
Please know that I have appreciated you taking the time to read and comment on my poems throughout out the year - even when your contact settings are set in such a way that I cannot directly contact you to tell you so.
Feeling the cold a little, old bones so thinking of somewhere nice and warm. Some of us will already be well ahead of the planning stage and looking forward to the day of flights.
New Years
On the road to no where To the very end A sign just read Lands end No where else to go The road just falls away Rock and cliffs Beneath your feet All the rest fall into the sea flying above seagulls The sunshines The skies blu
Thoughts of Plum pudding while snowflakes and fairies dance in the snow!
I wish for all CS poets a happy new year May 2013 be a year filled with joy and cheer Certainly there will be a few scares and tears But the Gods won’t give anyone more than he can bear Take time to hug and kiss the one you hold dear Those that
Happy New Year to all..
I'd written this poem years ago.. just remembered it because we're in that season again. Beautiful for some, painful for others..... Just thought I'd put it out there again. Thanks....
This is a parody of Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer by Elephant Larry. This is my favorite new Christmas parody song. It is from a show I used to listen to back in the 80's, the Dr. Demento Show.
Just having some fun with Santa. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas to all my fellow poets!
I asked my dad how Santa could get down our chimney and he said he doesn't for our house, he has a majic key for houses that have chimneys that don't open out over big fireplaces.
I saw santa clause It was only one time he was deep in the woods try to get the deer in a line I said whats the matter He said nothing at all He had lots of toys a very big haul I asked could I help as that's how I am He gave me a smile
I have had some good Christmas presents from my past. I once got a shark game I already got, but I kept quiet because I was touched they even got me anything.
Thinking of Mariah Carey's Christmas song "All I Want For Christmas Is You." This would be an awesome present from Santa.
'Twas the night before Xmas, the streets were a mess with last-minute shoppers unleashing their stress. The traffic was swarming like flies on a turd with honking and yelling and flipping the bird. Mamá in the cockpit, and I with a map, had
happy christmas everyone...
Rudolph was my favorite Christmas movie when I was a kid. I based my whole Christmas belief on it.
A parody of Frosty the Snowman. We have snow all week here, thankfully just the 1 to 2 inches a day stuff.
Because the snow is so pretty the way it swirls!
Trees bare from the depths of autumn, winter stealthily creeps upon us, leaves are missing for the lack of the sun, but soon the christmas cheer will make such a fuss, Our children and grandchildren will be full of highs, wondering what gifts
I was having a hard time remembering all the performances, there have been 11 so far. I was told this would be the last year for it due to lack of student help. I hope they are wrong. I enjoy the talent shows more than anything else on the show. My favorite so far was a girl dancing to Betty Boop, she was spot on.
