no giving up
It is what it is and tomorrow for sure will be no early lessons on weekends you see!
You stand empty. You stand silent. Your windows broken. Your machines scrapped. Your workers gone. The rails rusty, The lots empty. The lights off. The smokestacks cold. The gates locked. The end reached.
A parody of Wipeout by the Fat Boys who did a parody of Wipeout by the Beach Boys.
adventures in plumbing
since January till now...having bad vibes and being stressed out coz the some of my working guys think I'm trying to show them I'm better than them??? That's why i rarely come here coz I'm sad..upset ..and feeling so damn bad ... everyday something to make them upset something i did or say.....
There has a been a crunch at work lately, for the most part it has been pretty low on overtime in the last three years.
Most people (ignorant, so to speak) immediately assume that all hispanic immigrants are good for nothings, that they belong in the rice fields. Little do they know, hispanics in general are labor ready workers, hard-workers, willing to sacrifice whatever it is necessary to provide their families with daily food. They're underpaid and disrespected, this poem was written in honor of those great men whose fruit is the product of their labor.
Just bumming once again about work and the possible jobs out there, if I got really desperate, so far I'm just gonna suck it up!
This is a line I came across by an unknown source. The writer did not give his name. Anonymous.
having fun writing some rap lyrics
Just ragging about my job, but it could be any of the jobs I have had. Social interaction has always been a real crapper for me. I was asked what I liked best about my job. I answered the ride home.
I remember mowing grass in 1988 and not knowing how much oil to add and filling it all the way up. The manager saw the smoke and kicked my off that job and back to the back in the dishroom.
Bummed out again, at least I got to go home three hours early.
A parody of Paul Simon's Slip Sliding Away. The winters in Wisconsin can make for some dangerous driving conditions.
I worked the day after I saw this movie, I was freaked at work all day!
I could've had religion but I loved God too much I could've fought for a living in boxing rings and such but I guess we are who we are and we can't outrun ourselves and the traits that make us rounded are often stored in others shelves I
Work is what you make it they say. I blame myself for not planning my life better so the good jobs were more plentiful. I hope your work history was a happier one.
My coworkers really suck, or maybe it's just me that just doesn't like all this human interaction crap!
a white cloud of teeth approaches looks.. and reconsiders 02:03 at the nightclub a confrontation I work the door a struggle we trade I remove the bigger man he sees his own blood my squat silhouette heavy goatee "you are just
Another hot day, maybe the planet is heating up.
all I was given was strength a dull and blunted tool I stare out at beauty with the clarity of a fool all I was given was ferocity a rulebook without rules a limited life vocabulary an outdated set of tools all you were given was beauty
This was created 15 years ago for a personal website in order to make one-of-a-kind furniture and sculptural items for sale. There's an old saying that 'life is what happens when you're making other plans'. I went through the big "D", then shifted outta ON-Terrible to BC, then hence to NS these past 11 years.
I made a list back in 2015 and 2017, though I couldn't find the data. I am pretty sure the totals have lost a lot from those years as the turnover rate here is very high. We had over 300 come and go in 2007, and another 500 come and go in 2015. I figure over 5000 people have come and gone since 2007.
A factory full of odds and ends, assembled and arranged in lines by non-mechanical beings. Punchdrunk time cards chart their lives through typical weeks with typical tasks. Printing the barcodes, scanning the barcoded things. Plotting points on a
The Beatles is probably the best group ever and Paul McCartney being the best single musical writer and performer. The first part of this poem is the song The End.
I'm sure it is just as frustrating for workers in other fields, wether it be cops or teachers, or just a McDonald's worker. We all feel the neglect of a job that doesn't give us what we need most, respect. This is a parody of Roxanne by The Police.
Farming is a fickle business. You really must be willing to work with as well as wait for Mother Nature; and have tons of courage, cunning, and faith in order to succeed when so many others fail.
The routine of daily labor of the working class.
Dedicated to my mom who died unexpectedly
A hot day in the 90's, and a work place in the 110's, just another day in paradise!
There was some good music in both cases, the other one didn't smell as much as it was made out of a non-leather material.
We have about 427 employees and around 50 temporary employees, so almost 500 people that work here. The temp pay when I started in 2007 was 10.50, then when I came back in 2013 it was 9.50. Now it is 13 for temps.
I really wished I had stuck it out with teaching, at least I got every weekend off, even if the kids drove me crazy!
It comes from my interactions with my friends and relatives who are married. They give me a realistic picture of marriage.
Good bad day Su'mm fe save Su'mm av fe slay Manifesting molding vibrations like clay Flying higher goin deeper Fe break make wake dem outa sleeper Causing da earth to rebirth, rolling as da grim reaper Maime n kill Negative vibrations that d
Just another condition of working at a bad job, nightmares.
Some random things heard at my job
I am really dreading all this crap with hard working people getting the shaft again and again and again. I've done some farm work in my past. These people really work their butts off to keep us all well fed.
Imagine working at a job for years and finding out that a temp is making 400 dollars a week more than you are. That is just one of the many things that works me up and drives me crazy. This Trump health care plan would be great if everyone would be covered as good as people who are disabled or are in prison. Our health care system is a cruel joke!
It is so darn cruel out there. All these jobs that come and go. It just seems to get crueler every year. The wages go down and prices go up and these money lending places are making a killing off of this dying consumer. I've seen more humanity with a bunch of crows picking at a dead squirrel on the road!
Could say this is my favorite super bowl commercial. I have every one of these, except for punching small animals!
hey mcradloff, i know how you feel. the world has moved for roung to woefully wrong....
So cool...but scary too!!...
Socrates, a joyful write indeed! For every little girl and boy!...
