A poem about my pomeranian dog, Boom Boom.
I don't need to say anything about this poem, this poem says a lot in itself.
My sister and ex-sister-in-law often say that my dog, Sweetie Pie, behaves much like a real person. They describe as being “a whole human”. She amazes us.
The experiences while working as a veterinary technician.
I wrote this for a poetry contest back in 2014. I got an honorable mention. This was written in A,B,C style. Each line had to start with the next letter of the alphabet until you have A all the way through Z

The arrival of vast waves of white settlers in the 1800s, and their conflict with the Native American residents of the prairies, spelled the end for the buffalo. There were even buffalo killing contests. In one, a Kansan set a record by killing 120 bison in just 40 minutes. “Buffalo” Bill Cody, hired to slaughter the animals, killed more than 4,000 buffalo in just two years. Some U.S. government officials even promoted the destruction of the bison herds as a way to defeat their Native American enemies, who were resisting the takeover of their lands by white settlers. One Congressman, James Throckmorton of Texas, believed that “it would be a great step forward in the civilization of the Indians and the preservation of peace on the border if there was not a buffalo in existence.” Soon, military commanders were ordering their troops to kill buffalo — not for food, but to deny Native Americans their own source of food. One general believed that buffalo hunters “did more to defeat the Indian nations in a few years than soldiers did in 50.” By 1880, the slaughter was almost over. Where millions of buffalo once roamed, only a few thousand animals remained.
Our dog is always on guard
LIFE IS SO CRUEL! WHY DID MY LOVE HAVE TO LEAVE WITHOUT ME?
I have been recording Alice, a sitcom from the 70's about a waitress at Mel's Diner. Just about every commercial break they have these snow leopards that are facing extinction. Just thinking of some other animals out there not making any money for these charities, like the mosquito.
This is Balu's story A poem for Balu The prognosis of a home for me is not very good Just one of many abandoned in my neighbourhood I'm not the prettiest and my coat don't shine But I long for somebody just to be mine. Out in the rain, the cold

Wrote this after my cat vanished for a couple of days, had four gorgeous kittens nearby and eventually brought them home.

On the cusp of beauty, you were born Before this World had its modern form. Atavar and Spirit much older than us Existence formed from the deserts' dust. Imprinted in time, dissolved on the wind Generous in spirit, eye that is kind. Givin

A KITTEN APPEARED AT MY PATIO WINDOW; I FED HER AND SHE LOOKED RIGHT THROUGH ME WITH HER BIG BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES; TURNED AROUND AND DRIFTED AWAY TO KITTY HEAVEN! THAT IS WHY ANIMALS ARE MY LIFE FOREVER!

I saw many cows on my way to Lancaster this morning. Just wondering what would they say if they could.
An honest poem about an honest horse. "No hour spent in the saddle is ever wasted" - Winston Churchill.
Or is life a giant mobius, winding toward the center.
I RESCUED HER FROM A TRAP SET BY A EUTHENIZER BUT THE NEXT NIGHT SHE WAS TAKEN AWAY AND NO ONE TOLD ME! THE LOW LIFE IS THE OWNER OF MAMA JENNIES!

I went to Petsmart to get two snails to replace the ones that had died recently. I bought them on Palm Sunday. They lived a little over four months. The woman said I should feed them algae tablets daily and they should live longer. We'll see what happens.
