Looking back at what I had, maybe I'm just going mad. The voices they could all be lying, gives the reason to stop the crying. Could take a while for me to sleep, my mind, my thoughts they go to deep. Times will lose & times will win, but

Welcome To New CS Poets

There has been a lot of activity recently here on Poetry Corner. Several of the more senior poets seem to have taken a break. Let's hope they return soon. In the meantime, several new poets have appeared. This piece is a welcome to them. Poetry is larger than any individual or group of indivduals. The show must go on. I invite all poets, including the new, to post their views on Poetry Corner. We can all benefit from each others' views. Thanks!

I did then the same and I could see a Bird circling around going higher and higher like in a spiral and already so very high that it was diving some times into the cloud. She then said to me," I had really like to be that bird and fly high in the sky" and then she clearly followed with like pain in her voice," but my Parents never give me Wings"!

I wrote the poem to say that what I lack is not as important as my serenity and everything I'm blessed with. Life can be lonely but even then I look forward to every day and appreciate being happy is all I need most in life.
