I found a flower across the way as pretty as can be it had flourished in it's enviroment and blossomed naturally i picked that flower blooming and took it far away set it in another land to see if it would stay it took a while for it to strike for dormant did it stay and as it suffered from within time would have it's say for slowly and surely it strengthened every day showing glimpses of it's beauty from it's land far away it overcame the heat ` from the torturous sun it darkened in it's colour from the life it had begun it overcame the barreness of nurturing from the past and grew terse in it's resolve to endure and outlast it overcame the ignorance of people who did not care it's beauty and it's colour was always there to share although yet to bloom it set it's roots down deep and absorbed all that offered for it's place it yearned to keep it learned of the seasons as they did arrive it absorbed with tenacity it's willingness to survive for deep within it's soul it had an unknown depth a knowledge and understanding from the hardships that it kept now i look upon you and with admiration i can say your blooming with a beauty with the honesty that you pray...........

I empathize with your lovely new wife Kathy. I fully understand the sacrifices she had to make when relocating. She is blessed to have your understanding and patients at this time (quote)'to help her up the hill' True love can conquer all.. Best wishes to you both

Nu When I first read this piece, I was carried away by the lovely story you painted of the flower, its subsequent successful transplanting in a new environment, and how it overcame the adversity to flourish and bloom in a glorious display of its true beauty. It was only toward the end that I realized that the flower was your beautiful wife, Kathy, whom I salute as a mother par excellence. Both of you are very fortunate to have each other. May you both continue to enjoy your very special relationship.
