My Special Haven
I love fireflies or lightning bugs as we call them here. I have always loved them since childhood.
Once while I as wlking in a garden, this poem struck me.I observed Nature at its best and this inspired me to write this poem.
After 10 years when I first visited and fell in love with the island I now have the chance to go there and live. I went there recently for a week's recce to check things out and to make sure my vision wasn't a dream gone wrong, only to find I loved it all the more. I leave the UK on July 1st to realise my dream, finally. This poem was written while I was there.

There was a poetry competition held in the USA by USA's famous poet, Jack Huber and I was invited to participate.I wrote this poem on a topic "Mountain" and I was awarded a book of poems by Jack Huber as the best poem in the competition.
