on the road and into the night spontaneity regales an endless journey and bright lights our destiny prevails a silver circle bestills itself out of the charcoal sky as we ponder on its existence we stop to let out a sigh a rainbow reflects the moon at night but no colour do we see only a silvery grey ring to reveal its identity almost alien I suspect as the hairs on my neck stand tall overwhelmed by this creation never before seen as I recall no more than five minutes it's life was not long but the mark it left upon my heart will be a memory forever strong.......................

About this poem:
Apparently these occur when all the things line up ..................this was mine and Kathy's first..........quite amazing so close and clear and very big
Sounds awesome. ...the way you describe it paints a clear picture. ...just one more miracle that really must be 'by chance.'....maybe a leftover result from the 'big bang.'......give Kathy my best Nu....
Hi Socrates.........;We were both very fortunate I understand it a very unique thing to see..........thanks for stopping by ..........always appreciate your input........regards Nu

Poetry at its best,
Phil.
You are very fortunate to witness such a rare spectacle.
I love the smooth rhyme and metre of your poem.
