i guess 4 yrs in a 10yr prison sentance ,my childhood girlfriend dump me and i just started writing poems etc
(The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog) This piece is about the sentence that typists learn, to gain mastery of the keyboard, and enhance speed. I wanted to try to turn it into a poem without mentioning any of the words in the sentence directly, but to try to convey the meaning in a lighthearted way.
as i light this candle for you to bring you back into the light may you see me as you recive me as i light the way o spirit remember o remember the light o spirit the candle i light for you o remember the light
Connection and intimacy is the inspiration of this poem.
This is just a sensual poem of what could happen if one was to paint me in chocolate. It's a fantasy, a dream.
this poem is about a beach called Wai-nui-o-toto (new chums beach), on the Coromandel, New Zealand. developers want to develope it, activists want to save it, and locals will share till the end of time... cause at the end of time, those who seeked to destroy it will lay for ever in unrest, those who fought to save it will be remebered. and we as locals will die to keep that that is important to us free from ones greed... it is one of the last untouched natural wonders left on the Coromandel, it should be left alone for all to share, not just for the few who want it for them selves... sound familiar?? its happening world wide, wake up people... enjoy.
Writing this poem has been difficult, a roller-coaster ride of emotions, I probably should have written this many years ago, but I chose to stop writing instead. We all suffer hardships and grief in our life, sometimes it feels like our world is falling apart. The one truth I have found is that our dreams don’t just end; they change and bring new beginnings. Without the difficult times how would we be able to identify how precious and beautiful life is, and how insignificant the things we worry about really are.
Thinking of the woman of my dreams.
"ZARATHUSTRA SPEAKS" WAS THE OPENING MUSIC WHEN ELVIS TOOK TO THE STAGE AND AS OF THIS SLIVER OF TIME I FEEL AS IF ELVIS HAS NOT LEFT THE BUIDING
this poem reveals my native background and express the rich culture from my birthplace...
it´s a special homage to my brazilian friend who is new member at this site and her nickname is "wildmulberry"...Be welcome my dear and lovely friend... all my best wishes to you!!! i hope you will find your soulmate here... Congratulations!!!!
i am still inspired by Kitamura Kigin(japanese poet from the XVII Century)... i combine the love theme of "Iwatsutsuji"("Wild Azaleas" or "Rock Azaleas") with other elements of eastern poetry such as the scar of a warrior, hope from an auspicious star and the scent-probably from an incense of indian clove that shows a spicy inner feeling... about the queen bee, probably i don´t deserve this kind of relationship, and so, being humble, i compare myself to a beloved quean because i am not the main consort or lover to this unknown worthy drone...
JUST ANOTHER POEM FOR THE INJUSTICE OF IRELAND TO BURY DEEP ENOUGH THAT ONLY A FOOL WOULD SCAN THAT FAR TO FIND A POEM WRITTEN ON THIS EARLY FLORIDA MORN, FOR SURELY SHE IS AN UNFAIR EDITOR BORN
a kalyanamitra is a spiritual friend who is able(maybe, maybe not) to be a soulmate, in short a beloved one(any worthy otherself)... "kalyanamitra" is a sanskrit word... i guess i prefer "gewa chennyen"(kalyanamitra in tibetan) or "hao p'hon you"(kalyanamitra in chinese) or "kokoro no tomodata"(or "shin tomodata", kalyanamitra in japanese)... i really don´t know... words float in the void when i try to understand their deep and genuine meanings... Let there be kalyanamitras!!!! May all Heavenly Beings gather the kalyanamitras here and now!!!!... forever...
Its quite obvious
I wrote this poem for a girl that I fell in love with in New Zealand. She was the first girl that I can say that I truly loved. I left New Zealand not long after, but I still think of her and wonder what became of her. I guess you could say that I still love her to this day.
This flowed one night during a tough time in my life. Cheers all. :)
the name says it all, isolation. the deeper man comes in dreams the better they develop their imagination. though this poem is suposed to be a helping hand in leaving worries or sorrow. fear is a small motivator and a big demeanor, when not banned properly. thank you for reading
burn sorry I am not a poet just looking to exspress my feelings @ the present
I wrote this poem for a woman, who is still a rose I've yet to find; I wrote it to express a hope that's deep in my soul, and a dream I hope comes true. .
what it must be like to be trapped
Though written with one in mind, actually applicable to many...
I wrote this at 17 years of age when ADULTS always said to us at that age that we don't know what love is. lol Funny thing is I was single when I wrote it
the record was recorded a while back the words are always important freedom from the politics and hustle and bustle rumble in the jungle Tarzan and Jane
I love Doris Day' She projected the girl next door image A sweet lovely sophistacted sensitive woman Que sera sera Blessings and Love to all
Written 8-22-00. This was a very inspirational piece from different ideas put together. The man signifies maybe a father who had lost a son in a war, a man who`d lost the love of his life, the homeless man who was down on his luck, so many different men could`ve been this man, but even if he`s hurting, don`t be afraid to lend a hand, and give some comfort so he can die with some peace.
This piece is about the first time I revisited a place called Portsalon. It is a place on the coast, with spectacular views, that I have always gone to visit, when life got to me.
Took this long to get to the point where I could write this.
Just had to write one from my lunacy. Needed to add a comma in the 3rd last line.
Equal time for home sweet home...
Reflections on my recent trip to Ireland.
A wistful poem written for a very special man filled with hopes for the future. I'd say the birds are now singing loud and clear.
This one is about waking up.
In adoration.
Written upon the death of the father of my two best friends, who was much more of a father to me than my own.
Hopefully, this rather comic, early poem will make your day. It seems a bit juvenile at times with an anachronistic tint, but still, it rhymes nicely.
Oh, I was just sitting here, thinking about Dr. Seuss;D
I didn't actually write this poem, its dedicated to all the Bullriders out there who have come off a bull and survived it. Lane Frost was a true cowboy, who in his day lived up to his name, at just 24 he was instantly killed by a bull name Red Rock which he rode at the Calgary Stampede championship finals.

Dedicated to my friends, the hadedas...
We shared our dreams, We shared our fears, We shared our thoughts, We shed our tears. But only for a moment. I found a friend, I found my love, I found my soulmate, A gift from above. But only for a moment. I gave my soul, I gave m
