Listen To What You Have To Say

I want to walk beside you through the meadow
On a lovely spring day
I want to spend some time with you
And listen to what you have to say

Lean a little closer to me
As we watch flowers budding from the ground
Being in the kindness of the moment
When there's no one else around

Looking back over my shoulder
I see the sky is turning gray
And before the rain is upon us
I listen to what you have to say

Rays of sunshine and a rainbow
Magic has come out to play
Lean a little closer to me
As I listen to what you have to say

W Legend

He once had the password W Legend
He would use it for a year
You see his heart was breaking how could he move on
The only way he could became clear

He had to be change it to something else
It kept reminding him of how he felt
About a girl he once knew
And every time he was on that dating site he began to feel so blue

No other girl stood a chance
For as soon as he typed W Legend
It only took a glance and he was right back at the start
So change it but W Legend was always written on his heart

Let Your Eyes

Never mind what to say let your eyes do the talking
Never mind right or wrong
Let your eyes do the forgiving

Never mind once we were young and now we are getting old
Just look at me and let your eyes
Touch my soul

I'm no good at this I know and if I keep writing I'll never let you go
Is it wrong should I say so long
Let your eyes do the forgiving

Let your eyes read this love story and when you feel you could cry
Let your eyes do what no one really wants to do
Let your eyes surrender to goodbye

A Hundred Love Poems Or More

Why was that girl always on my mind did I look like a fool oh my
For her I wrote a hundred love poems or more
It's a little late to apologize but I'm going to try
It's very hard to find the words I'm looking for

At last it has come to my attention and now I'm aware
Several years later I see
It was a one sided love affair
And how embarrassed she could be

I'll try to bring this to a close this time for sure
And if I could send a telegram to her door
It would read forgive me I have finally found a cure
So sorry it only took a hundred love poems or more

Love Lets the little kid in u come out & play

Love lets the little kid in u come out & play

Grandmas are just
Antique little girls
They still love ribbons
Roses & pretty little things
But most of all they want their loved ones near them to share care
Hug hold
Snuggle kiss
Giggle laugh
And have quality
Moments, hours w you your time & love.
Share their stories
*my stories
They want quality time with you today, tomorrow, next week,
Birthdays w Betty's buttermilk cake, Valentines, Thanksgiving, Christmas,
They need to know you care & r willing to share.
They still need that warm teamwork feeling
Of togetherness in the kitchen, at the table
And in the living room
& anywhere your family events are meaningful
At the lake, bonfires
And oh yes yes yes
at the beach!
Family traditions memories are Wonderful!
They need your respect
For "Them" your elder.
But most of All
They need your time
To honor & adore one another by reciprocating Your Love
They just need want to be included, not forgotten, valued, respected,
Seen, Recognized, Acknowledged,
Appreciated
Admired adored

They need you on a
Regular basis to
share your world with them
Never devalued
Always appreciated
Never taken for granted
For one day
You will only be able to hear their silent voice
Remember their good
& keep their
Dear fragile memory
alive in your soul
Never to expire
No one can extinguish
The love they shared in your heart & soul!
It lives on
In love expressed
By family traditions in the kitchen around the table
Entertainment
Today & tonight!
And at special
Celebrations
Like birthdays,
Betty's buttermilk cake
Valentines
Thanksgiving
& Christmas
Melody Harmony
Peaceful memorable
Amazing times
Peace out!
Written just now custom
Sharing with You!

Love is a human need of expression
Time to compose maybe 2 plus hours
Brewing in my soul a long time
Today the teapot whistled loudly ...
Saying it's ripe
Ready to pick
Time to Listen Now!
The pot squealing profusely!
Type
Complete it
And it finally
Jelled all together
Yippie?
: )

Just A pen In Hand

There are words I never got to say
Things I never got to do
And now it has come down too
Just a pen in hand

First word what will it be
Second verse she still won't see
How will she recognize me
With just a pen in hand

For I never spoke this way
In this way here I am
One word closer to her heart today
With just a pen in hand

But in reality what will tomorrow bring
Perhaps I should think again
For no one has ever done such a thing
With just a pen in hand

The Art of Loves Language

The Art of Loves Language

I have top clearance
female vet of military
Never lie cheat steal
Prefer only positive
Have nothing to do with dishonest or addicts

My formula of likes dislikes

I like u
think it is rude
to lie
not listen
text while communicating
Insincere

Jeese Louise
Where's Thelma?

Attend to the business at hand in this moment
Disdain to abrasive
Impatient vulgar people
Turn their eyes
to the t v
during a
conversation
roll their eyes
Try to Push Bully
dominate control
Suppress
edit your speech
Not with me you don't!

do someone elses side of the conversation
not your job but theirs

Like "Robert Redford in the the horse whisperer movie"
RR "Oh, I get it now because u think u have a good editor title at your job: you ask me a question then answer your own question not giving me a chance to respond,
well u don't need me here then!
remark, stands up,
exits the front porch
Teaching her a lesson she will never forget
She her character
was self obsessed
gloating
in a fake euphoria
of self vs. proper communication skills

judge correct another adults speech cuss
And hog the conversation
or be
self obsessed
Most have not
polished
the skills of the communication process
Of send receive
Give take
Listen speak
Participant spectator listener

I only seek a gentleman
1.). With a good vocabulary articulate in the native tongue of
English
Verbal and writing skills &
Vs.
a man where English
Is his second language
And often his interpretation is way
OFF
in his translation
Ugh!
Someone else can teach him English
not me
Not on my watch
Not my job
Not hired to be his translator!
Its one thing to help someone w English
If they wish
But not interested
In a sweetheart
That doesn't understand English
I condense my English when typing
But real life is different

2.). the Language of Love
peace
Dislike bad English
Poor typing
Bad spelling
Typos
Shows u could care less
Of communication efforts

No effort
Of the unwilling
But want an
Angel of their own
they don't deserve
Not willing to do the work
Nor have they earned
Nor deserve
The reward
The ultimate prize
Her affections
Her time or friendship
Ugh!
Communication
Is the key to her
Heart & soul
If u want the reward
To unlock her door!
Only then
is there a
Chance
To
Dance
To enter
that sacred spot
of friendship
That they who
r poor at that
Inadequate
Can't achieve
Till they have
applied much polish!
She needs a man
Not a boy
An adult
not a punk kid!
Snooze u loose
Don't listen
Then
I'm done listening too!
Next!

Like the movie
"Multiplicity"
A young disabled man
Answers the husbands question
What does she want?
Why is she mad at me?
What did I do?
questions
He replied
She asked you what u thought
You said I want pizza
U take her for granted
U don't
Listen!

Lovers Lament

Since that day I walked away
You have lingered on my mind
I often wonder why I cannot say
The words to ease my mind

Our time is over that I know
And it’s time for moving on
I wish I had somewhere to go
Someone to lean upon

I look around for someone kind
To help forget the pain and troubles too
And the leave memories of you behind
So I can live my life anew

Will those memories ever fade?
And let me be apart from you
Or will they like a well-made blade
Cut my broken heart in two

I try and try and try once more
To shed the guilt weighing on my heart
Knowing it was me who tore
Into pieces both of our hearts

Now I am here forever more
And you have moved so far away
Never will I hear your voice once more
Whisper in my ear each day

The words that lovers often speak
Floating gentle on my mind
With every gentle kiss they speak
Words of love to fill my heart and mind.

About this poem:
Sitting alone I often think of people who have given up love so their partner could pursue their carrier. Or just let them go to move where their heart takes them. This is about those people who stayed behind and sacrificed their love so someone else could be happy.

To Martha

Martha, my dear, please be kind, lend your ear,
You are staying alone, looking hopeless and torn,
And like pebble on shore to and fro you are borne,
Knowing not love is knocking on door.

Martha, my dear, take my word, don't you fear,
Your life is at dawn, broad new day is at morn,
Cast aside doubts and all, it is now your turn,
Don't you know love is knocking on door?!

Martha, my dear, how I wish you were near,
Just believe in my word, have no doubts in its worth,
Never think it’s a hoax, for I mean every word
When I say, love has knocked on your door.

About this poem:
To tell the truth, I don't know who this Martha is, just a beautiful name of a beautiful woman. This poem is actually dedicated to men, cause they should be pouring their attention on women, not the other way round, rekindling their spirit with new hopes, but they are somehow slow in doing it. But I guess I am not authorized to speak for men so I will speak no more.
