a blessing

Petals falling from the
Sky,
From the God's above,
Way up high

Blessings you shall
Receive,
Blessings you shall
Achieve.

One by one a Petal
Falls,
Falling on those that dare to
Call,

For the Light Inside them
To brightly
Shine,
So that others can see
And also
Find,

Hope, Justice, Peace and
Truth,
Love, Forgiveness and Compassion
Too.

Soon this world will go
Through a change,
Many will despair, and seek out a place,

A place to hide from all their fears,
A place to hide, all their
Tears.

But the ones with the
Petals, will brightly
Glow,
In the darkness,it is they
That will
Show,

And give their Petals to
Those in need,
Teaching others, helping
Them in,
Deed.

Blessings you shall
Receive,
Blessings you shall
Achieve.

Dreaming

Dreaming in the twilight of the netherworlds,
like an angel of the highest order.
Fire protects what I say and do.
I can't die if I don't fear.
I will create my heaven
and the rungs of the ladder
will build themselves before me.

Woven Threads in Tapestry

The tapestry of my life
consists of various threads
each silken, cotton or rough hewn floss
touched by Your loving hands

The strands ever changing palette
in the fabric of time
The scarlet thread
is You Lord
evident over time

I tried to snip you out
and succeeded for a time
but the Master Weaver
will not let
His work be unraveled
by a mere human hand

Thank you that my tapestry
is not left unfinished
that last Summer
didn't leave
my life over and undone
with many ragged edges

The random threads spun in and out
are those lives who have intersected with mine
May they not be unfinished works either
but recognize
You in the design

at the edge of the cliff

The winds blow wildly,
As it tosses her hair.
But she's standing at
The edge of the cliff
And doesn't care.

She feels the bare stones
Under her cold feet
And wishes she was strong,
Strong enough to
Defeat,

The numbness she feels,
Deep inside,
As she decides
That suicide is,
Her only way to quickly die.

At the edge of the cliff
She puts one foot
Forward,
Knowing the other step
She takes,
Will lead her into
Death,
Eternal.

And as she is ready to end
Her life,
A soft gentle voice whispers,
Are you alright?

NO! She cries out in anguish and
Full of pain,
Everything I do,is for nothing and,
In vain!

I've tried so hard to be
The best I can be,
But all I can do is give
Pure misery!

I gave all I could till there
Was nothing left
Yet I know in my heart I tried
My best.

Hey you, said the soft voice
Why did you forget that it was I
Not you
when you was with them and
Showed them how to be
Free?

It was not in your power nor in your
Fault
That you tried to do the best
You could.

For that in itself is the
Power of Love,

Don't you understand?

You are the best you can
Be,
And if, your not satisfied,
With that,
Just come to me.

Just as you are.

Entity!

Why do people judge?, why do people care?
to write a feeling from the heart, is it wrong
is it fair?

It seems to me, from what I see, I'm nothing
more than an entity, unique?, oh yes, just
like you, there's nothing more, there's nothing
true,

Are words written from the mind?, or played
out from what we find?, is everything we see
so real?, or just a thought of what we feel?,

I can't decide, I just don't know, I guess I
need, I need to grow.

A Blessed Gift

What gift is this that God has blessed me with....to absorb everyone's pain, to feel every cut and graze within....

Able to touch a person's hand, and know and feel whether they are good or bad...is this truly a gift, or is this my punishment, to endure and cure and mediate rifts...

My intuition is far deeper than is needed, to recognise sorrow within and the need to heal everyone's personal defects...should I fight this and be blind to peoples needs, or should I carry on God's work and reap the rewards of this blessed gift...

I walk in to an unknown dwelling, and I feel it's presence of past and present, I sense the presence of ancestors passed away, the room fills with the aroma of cookies and mince pies....

I walk the rooms to where my curiosity takes me, I smell past lives, tobacco smoke smoked from a pipe, old fashioned perfumed scent that still lingers...

Who smokes a pipe I ask, and who is wearing that sweet old fashioned scent....the last people to share this room my Grandmother say's...your great Grandparents..they of whom passed away twenty years ago...

She looks at me with tears that trickles down her long lived cheeks, don't fear it she say's, for it is a gift, you are blessed with this, use it to heal and help other's....

I feel this everyday, in one form or another..but no longer do i fear it or dismiss it's sense and power....what sacrifice is this if it heals other's pain..long may my gift continue, and never shall i let it wain...

Our Colourful World

Violence is red as my love does say

Love is blue as you know too

Orange is party and no groping

Yellow is the time of alarm

Fear is black as is blind

Hope is white but no sight

Green is envy so vile and evil

Purple is peaceful and only desired

About this poem:
Moods are colours my poem could be turned upside down, inside out, depending on ones mental state.Tomorrow I would have written it differently and I am sure it would be more appreciated, but today is now and this is what I have.

My Spiritual Twin

I have seen you forever In my dreams,
I feel you deep inside of me, deep within.

My Soul, my Spirit they know your name,
But my memory cannot remember, tho I try earnestly in vain.

And sometimes darling, when the pain is too much,
I break down and cry and do foolish things in a rush.

I know all my tears, you hear every single time,
my frustration, impatience, my fight against time.

But time is ticking, and ticking too fast,
I simply don't know anymore, how much longer I can last.

I've waited forever to be by your side,
And I know that soon you will come and end this ride.

And when you do come, you will happily find,
A woman who will always love you, till the end of time.

For eternity and beyond, with wisdom and love,
A love that was created from the heavens above.

For just you and me.

For just you and me.

Crusaders

Wearing white sheets
They danced in the streets
chanting their odd little song.
They gave me a book
They asked me for money
They told me how I'm living wrong.
They were ready to give me inner peace
As they tried to save my soul.
They said if I lived the way that they lived
Their truth would make me whole.
Well, I listened intently to all that they said.
I just couldn't agree.
So I gave them a buck and wishes of luck.
They needed it much more than me.
Don't feel sorry for me.
I'm not trying to save the world
Life isn't easy but I'm not led by illusion.
Don't feel sorry for me.
You can't see what I see.
But I know you mean well
So I'll kindly forgive your intrusion.
Then I drove home; my neighbor cried
I've found the truth, the light!
Why don't you come to church with me!
It just might set you right!
It's a wondrous thing you found, I said
And I'm glad that now you know
But the word's been out 2000 years
And I heard it long ago.
Don't feel sorry for me.
I'm already free.
I'm happy for you
but cannot accept your allusion.
Don't feel sorry for me.
Sermons fill me with ennui
But because you mean well,
I'll politely forgive your confusion.
