The End

Hi save my last word
The end I see
I wave goodbye
Lost am I

Drained of thought
Pondering what to write
Lost poems of thought
My creative mind

Gone lost the words to say
Where to find my lost words to say
Where do they hide
In the darkness of my mind

The light gone my creative thought no more
Straining to think
Of poems galore
My mind dims
It leads to darkness

Lost my poems there gone no more

(Wayne's challenge ) your shadow

Very dark and stark
The night's foreboding

Much like your shadow
Captivating yet intriguing.

You Don't Care

Violence turning into hate
to be as one has become a debate
struggles we go through
wishing for moments to undo

Fighting everyday none stop
till one or both of us drop
hurt words said, no trust
something will happen and must

Everything will fall apart
unless changes begin to start
happiness we will never share
if neither one of us truely care

Beneath A Wounded Sky

Beneath the wounded sky sails she
In a crystal boat of long lost memories
Sails of gossamer wings spread out
Pushed by winds of regret and sorrow

Beneath the waves souls doth float
Misshapen, bent and twisted
Crying out for eternity long
“Have mercy Lord, forgive us.”

Up above, circling in the sky
With razor sharp talons flashing
Ready to drop on command
God’s revenge shall be extracted

Today, tomorrow, no difference knows
Each day flow into the other
Eternity is but a blink of God’s eye
Yet the suffering lasts forever

So on she sails beneath that sky
Not knowing what’s the difference
Is this today or yesterday
In the end it does not matter

The Old Man

For now I sit and wait,
Clock ticking away my faith,
Silent words in my head,
Voices that are long dead,
Alone I sit at night,
The moon my only light,
Devil standing at my door,
But he don’t frighten me no more,
For now I sit and wait,
Clock ticking away my faith.

Me

I'm hiding in this cage
I've built from all my rage
Hide from all my shame
No other there is to blame
I lie because of hurt
Making me feel like dirt
Wanting so much to feel good
But never feeling it like I should
Easier said then done
To be happy and having fun
Just wanting to feel whole
To love thyself and soul
No longer to be in a trap
Going through so much crap
I want to feel myself be free
To be who I know that I can be

Dope

It's the rollercoaster ride
That makes us run and hide
Putting what matters most aside
Left for anyone to find
To do or say that's ever kind

Shadow of Humanity

Life is nothing but a fairy tale
Chaos and destruction
Crumbling everything in sight

You cannot see the light nor a misty breath
Shadows succumb across the plain
Bringing the world of war and ruin cities

Humanity thrashing itself
For the blames of blood
As we are sinners to ourselves

History is repeated once more
Ashes of the dead is washed away
The living is not alive anymore

About this poem:
a poem about past and current problems of humanity's "wild nature" pre se. I'm strongly curious about our nature of the human mind. We rarely understand ourselves, yet we try saving a world when we cannot save ourselves...

Crow Girl

It was a tragic love affair
I may just quit it all
perhaps become a bum
hop aboard a lonesome train...

She was a first true love
such long raven hair
so dark and lovely
all the way to her scaly feet...

A wholesome lady
who loved cornbread
all day long with beak lips
my corn loving lady..

As a joke she would yell "caw"
and begin flapping her arms
then one day as she sat on a fence
some guy hunting shot her...

Nobody But Me

Parentage that could not love me
I legacy that set the tone of my life
Painful memories are my legacy
From childhood to stage I became wife

Every time someone wants someone to use
My doorbell is sure to ring day or night
Being the victim I just can't refuse
I take pride in my precious birthright

Tears are my best friend always loyal
The only constant in my regime daily
Together we reign supreme cause we're royal
When we are together, we need no other really
