As I lay in this darkened room my breath so still memories of your face burn though me like crystallised fire your memory fades and I scream with pain how much longer will Iie hear in this darkened room will your not take me now from my doom bits of my mind go floating into the past where you are so young so full of live I see us walking hand in hand with the sea under feet and our love so strong then laying in the sand and as the Sun goes down you fall asleep I lay watching your every move so lovely you are now the tears come running back as your memory fades and I lay in the darkened room ?

On comes the night
The darkness moving in
This keeper of all my secrets
This creator of my sin.
On comes the night
Forever my silent mate
The darkest of dark embrace
My one and only fate
On comes the night
Respise from the glaring light
The veil that hides my faults
The world of black and white
On comes the night
And into its embrace I will go
For his is the only way
The only life I know

Underneath
Under water
Under the silver veil
I am sheathed
I am altered
I lie unaware
Wrapped in tepid silence
Be still my beating heart
Here Im safe from violence
Safety in the dark
Saline tears a vast ocean cried
I release my final breath
Slowly as I close my eys
And sink into the depths

About this poem:
Whats to tell
Post Comment
Eyes tightly shut
Hands cupping ears
Trying to escape the deafening shrill of a thousand hyenas
How long has it been like this?
Long enough for aching arms to finally let go
For the eyes to open
To the deathly sound, of silence....

About this poem:
Sometimes one can feel lonely, even in a crowd....

Author: Edgar Allan Poe
“I have absolutely no pleasure in the stimulants in which I sometimes so madly indulge. It has not been in the pursuit of pleasure that I have periled life and reputation and reason. It has been the desperate attempt to escape from torturing memories, from a sense of insupportable loneliness and a dread of some strange impending doom.”

oh Ken, it ain't time for the end
we got babies to be sittin
and co-workers to be smitten
Oh Ken it ain't time for the end
The usual will occur
the phone rasps "nevermore"
you walk tall, the tiled floors
oh ken, it ain't time for the end
saddle up your sorrel mare
heels down, find your trail
if no trail can be found, break your own
oh ken it aint the time for the end

About this poem:
this is for a suicidal friend of mine

I thought you left
Mindful of your future
Your fear of losing your senses
Broken and deserted
Was it your pride
Or your fear that made you leave?
Nah, it was your calculating mind
You knew what we had was good
Maybe even better than those
You've shut out from your heart
But what do I know
I was only a ghost trying to sate
The void that can't ever be filled
Because you always want those
That you can't ever get...
You'll always be alone
Bitter and abandoned,
And the funny thing is?
You can mask it all too well
Relishing in pleasure
Even as you're writhing in pain
Shattered in shards of bitterness
Numbed in pain, bleeding and broken.

About this poem:
Just remembering of what could have been.

Tears roll down my cheeks tonight
The soil beneath my feet in blight
Is it because I stand upon
this earth, to spread my poison on?
The darkness inside
Spreading outwards to destroy
Noone to protect you
Or hear you cry
All alone you'll be
Just as I
Walk in my shoes if you dare
Only then will you know
The root of my woe
The reason I despair

I love you with all my heart
My soul laid bare from the start
How you sucked me into your plans
How your deceit ground me down
You left me adrift in unfamiliar lands
I want to put you on the highest pedestal
High in the sky made with crushed glass and barred wire piles
I want to watch one thousand birds peck at you and remove the lies
I want to watch the great oceans of the world wash over you
Your concrete shoes the last fashion item you will use
And as you lay there amongst a million wrecks
People will say you were washed away
And the sea has claimed another wonderful jewel today
I want to watch as poison sneaks keep you close and confined
I want to time how long it takes for the poison to fill your beautiful body and mind
Like your lies filled my mind and pushed to a world I could no longer find
And in this world you led me to believe no one loved me no one cared
I want to watch your velvet skin decay
I want you to be awake as a horrible disease eats away
I want all the people you hurt to line up and watch as you say good bye
With all your cruelty exposed to the naked eye
I want to lie down at your grave
I want to hold your hand and remember the soft touch of your skin
I want to remember the beautiful sound of you laughing and all the fun you gave
I want to look into those beautiful eyes one last time
I want to see you laying there
Remembering your beauty my mind despairs
I want my mind to disguise the lies you told in our lives
I just want to say good bye
But you infatuated me with your lies
Your chocolate eyes and velvet skin
Your wonderful disguise that helps you win

Round and round they chase each other
Such a mad and crazy dance
Getting much harder to tell them apart
It would only be by chance
The years piled up, they weary me
So many things I’ve done
Regrets there are, so many now
I could list them one by one
Nothing I do changes anything
Life just carries on
