Cardboard Nation and sleeping bag homes

Our governments say the world is rich
With all the information we need at our fingertips
They marvel at our majestic rise
From living in caves and fearing fire
To living in luxury and material things our only desire

When you walk along our busy streets
The bright lights and funky art
The smile's the laughter to which you are part

You walk along in such a rush
Your part of the great city push
Everywhere you look you see nice cafe's or city bars
The hotel with the front so plush

I ask you now to press pause
To slow right down and look around
I ask you to open your eyes and maybe you will see

The cardboard nation we try to forget
The one our government looks upon with regret
Sleeping bags home's a population laid bare
They have now cafe's or funky art
Just blood and urine soaked corners in which they sleep

Feces stain their cardboard homes
The smell of human decay fill their nose
A feeling of negligent a feeling of being depressed
Is cured by a drug filled blast
In the shape of a can, bottle or syringe
A feeling of hope but it does not last

Now people say it is their choice
Or maybe they are on government list
People say it is their habits that brought them here
And they are hooked on gear

Some things said might be true
But who are you, who am to cast judgment in this way
I would like to think that every human has a right to their own say
And all I ask is this
That you add these people to your mind list

This is part of our population all the same
Just because they are homeless they should not be treated inhumane
I am not asking you all to give money away
I am asking that you don't judge, spite or urinate
For it is just vile to treat a human being that way.

Fine to Dine

Can you feel my teeth sink into you, tearing your flesh from the bone.
Agony as your nerves scream out in pain, but you cannot move.
No, there is no escaping as the ropes hold you down tight onto the table.
No-one can hear you scream, only I, as I savour the taste of your flesh.

I shudder with delight because for so long I have dreamt of this moment.
Been thwarted so many times when things kept interfering with my plans.
At last, at my mercy, incomprehension, shock, horror and much more.
Laying here, spread out before me, a feast for my consumption.

be prepared

possessed of evil and terror
my world is rocked
running away from it all
will it ever stop?
will I find a road
decked with kindness
will it be paved out of love
and out of happiness?
or will hatred prevail
will it divide the world?
and worse, will you stand still
blind and unperturbed?
wake up, be vigilant, they say:
the end is coming
open your eyes and be prepared

if anything, believe:
there is nothing to lose
but everything to gain

after all heaven or hell
is not an illusion

About this poem:
I am so sad for the mindless attack of terror in our midst.

Belgium followed from Paris, and who is next?

Be very vigilant and observant that these will come to pass.

Thanks all for your read.

The Wounded Narcissist

In the pride of his knowledge,- he soared too high;-
His wings of wax and paper come undone;-
He plummets down now;- from that same blue sky;-
(And I am cow'd as Icurus' son).
Who feels the mortal damage to his pride;-
(And so I write of how I've come undone);-
The splitting and the splitting;- of wounds that run so deep;-
As sentimental tears course down his cheeks.

Imagine if...

Here is something for you to think about, Imagine if we was awoken each morning by the sun rays, that will tickle your skin, to the sounds of birds in the horizon how beautiful would that be,

To wake up surrounded by nature waterfalls, streams breathtaking gardens and fields. Animals playing not worrying about them getting slaughtered by poachers. A place where you can also grow your own fruit and vegetables, To explore what this world has to offer the true beauty’s of nature, we can dream hey,

Imagine this to if people supported each other not expecting anything in return, a unconditional love, a love that you automatically respond in time of need to be heard even. It seems that people are stuck in a world with their own problems, not wanting to help in a way to be heard for once,

I expect all of us to try regardless, no bull shit excuses, such as i have my own problems to deal with. Their is no need for selfish behaviour, We came here as spiritual beings to love, to protect, not for this place that i call hell, a place we live in today, is not a life where we feel free from harms reach, we need to love, not to hate. To respect people to understand each other’s needs, what is happening to the old fashioned values,

Here is something else for you to Imagine, Love is just an illusion! The connection does not exist, unfortunately love has died “so has the old fashioned morals! Happiness is just a dream Love is a feeling we dream, whatever love may be just stays in a dream of hope to keep ones soul going, to live in hope, to believe that dreams can come true,

But love what is love? We fear the mind, we fear the unknown, and we fear the truth “we fear far too much, we have reason to fear! Life is how we make it! Imagine if we all saw life through the eyes of a child? Imagine if people could have the ability to love?

Reminiscence of my lost love

PALOMA'S CHALLENGE

can I claim to live
in the landscape of my dreams
where your presence is caped
in Gossamer of my longings

only then
can the heralded Nacreous beauty
with Ataraxia I am most compelled
to get a hold of me
to lay down,
my broken heart
and
my weary mind

and as I am lured
into the Cosmogyral flow
with my soul dancing
in an Aeolian echo
nourishing my memory
to keep thinking of you
for
how can I be detached
from the Reminiscence
of our past
when all the heart beats I have
twirl and dance
in the Psyturism of
the golden wind

I kneel in Reverence
as I pay tribute to our love
I will forever treasure in my heart

because I have always loved you.

DEBASED

Deep down she floats into the murky depths
Ever deeper surrounded by the stench of decay
Before she even realises, there is only gloom
All hope is gone, only despondency and despair
Still once more she tries, one more struggle
Eventually the realisation comes to her, slowly
Death is her option, bowing her head she succumbs

Orphan

You adopted me
I thank you much
But what you don't know
I'm wicked evil and such
You think I'm an eight year old girl
But in reality I'm 33
I suffer a rare form of dwarfism
So what I really am you don't see
I killed the last family who adopted me
The husband didn't want me sexually
But he couldn't understand
I'm not eight
I'm 33
I killed a nun
I have killed your husband too
Now I almost killed your son
I almost killed your daughter too
But you stopped me
Kicked me in the head
Now I'm drowned at the bottom of this lake
Here I lay dead
But still I'm thankful for you adopting me
The eight year old girl who was 33

Hoarders

Crap here
Crap there
There's crap everywhere
Piles upon piles
Always moving stuff
Always tripping over stuff
It's all insanity!
It's all confusion!
It's all madness!
Throw it away
Throw it away
You say no!
I might sell it some day
I can use that
That holds sentimental value
I can't waste
Money is too tight
I look at the bicycle you found on the side of the road
You say it is in good shape
Who is it for?
Your child has grown
Piles go and piles come
In the end
It's just a hoarding sickness
Now where is the dog?

Demons Among Us

I was walking home from school on a cold winter day
Took a shortcut through the woods and I lost my way
It was getting late and I was scared and alone
Then a mean old man took my hand and led me home
Mama couldn't see him but he was standing there
I knew in my heart he was answer to my nightmares
Oh I believe there are demons among us
Sent up to us from somewhere down below
They come to you and me to create our darkest hours
To show us how to die
To teach us how to take
To guide us with the darkness of hate
Life had troubled times
Had me down on my knees
There's always been someone to come along and frighten me
A harsh word from a stranger to take my self esteem
A phone call from a collector just to say where is my cash
Ain't it kinda funny at the dark end of the road
Someone blocks the way with just a single word of doubt
Oh I believe there are demons among us
Sent up to us from somewhere down below
They come to you and me
To create our darkest hours
Show us how to die
Teach us how to take
To guide us with the darkness of hate
To guide us with the darkness of hate
