As I listen to the rain drops,,falling on my roof, lost in contemplation, not being aloof, just thinking about existance, how they reflect it all,, they are here, they fall, they cease to exist,,, just like us all,, a moment in time, its all that we are, dont look to the future, dont look too far, we're a whisper in time, we can cease to be, suddenly, ,,,,,,,, its all made up, by you and me.

The wonderment of bird song, on a summer day, the beauty of the leaves that fall, and how they float , then lay,, .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
If I die today, then let me say, its all a load of bollocks, you live you die, you laugh, you cry, you grow,,, you know,,, that all that it is ,,, and all that it could have been, no terrible sin, you can never change what will be,,, so,, relax and let go and just see.

Where smoke is found
There is always fire
Undoubtably or not
Trouble always finds you
When you least expect it
Prowling on the catwalks
Eyes peering into shadows
Ears touching the walls
Watching and listening
For signs of witchcraft
Real or imaginary
No one is ever alone or
Really that innocent
Because the cameras lens
Is always searching
Whenever you get away
Wherever you need to go
To the mountains or forest
You’re only as safe
As you feel inside

About this poem:
Poem about accusations and superstitions and leaving ancient worries behind. Seeking solitude in nature always refreshes my inner sense of peace and tranquility. Much of modern society is conducted under the auspices of surveillance and security. Thanks to all the great poets, past and present, that have made CS a haven for many to explore and share a common love for poetry and free expression of thoughts that generate so much passion and feeling.
Thanks to all my fellow poets for helping me to reach my '600' poem milestone. I started writing poetry on this site ten years ago after a particularly painful breakup and I have never looked back.

Megan's Story:
So this girl named Megan, she was sitting on a curb
Analyzing a life that she didn't deserve
She was born with no money, her dad was always on the road
Her mother cheating on her father with a man that he knows
You see Megan was a free thinker, she had a mind of her own
She was popular in school but couldn't help feeling alone
That was until she met Chris, he was the man of her dreams
You know a good looking guy, captain of the football team
See Chris knew the game, he had a plan in the works
But to get what he wanted she had to fall for him first
Started texting awhile, called her baby and love
He would say anything, it was a part of gaining her trust
Then one Friday night Chris hit up her phone
He said come to this party instead of sitting at home
She was never the party type but she would go out tonight
He said good put on your clothes I'll be over in five
When Chris got to her house, he called said he's outside
She left thru the window and went and hopped in his ride
He made sure he told her it wasn't a great part of town
But she knew she could feel safe as long as Chris was around
Before Chris got to the party, he was making a stop
He had an 8-ball he was fixing to cop
He rolled up to the crib, walked up to the house
Then four dudes in all black with ski masks jumped out
They grabbed Chris, put a gun in his mouth
They said where the f*ck she at? Bring her up to the house
Chris walked to the car, grabbed her hand and said come
She told him she was scared, he said there's nowhere to run
They got her in the crib, told her to sit in the chair
She started to scream help but you see Chris didn't care
This was all the plan, Chris owed them a debt
See he was robbed for a G now he's paying them back
They tied her hands together, duct tape over her mouth
Ripped off her clothes and started banging her out
She was looking over at Chris and Chris just turned his back
He knew it was either this or he would die for a stack
They didn't stop there, one dude had a knife
And he had no problem taking an innocent life
When they were done, they threw her into a van
They closed the door and untied her hands
Drove to the park, dropped her off in the grass
Ripped the tape off her mouth, got in the van and they left
They thought it was just a f*ck but they had no clue
That little Megan, well she could keep secrets too
Tho she had died that night Karma still had a plan
And it was about to bite every one of them men
Later that night Chris went back to the crib
Five cops were waiting, they already knew what he did
He got twenty-five to life, with a chance of parole
He got what he deserved cause his heart was so cold
But for them other dudes, they got life with disease
You see little Megan was living with HIV.

Strange thoughts, foreign to a mind,
tis not the way, not any day,
but, search in vain, release the pain,
no other way to find,
No truth, no lies, just close your eyes,
it's gone, sorrow dies,
and who would care?, not they, but
gather round like birds of prey,
they'd stand and stare, and whisper
there, twas not a life anyway.
Life denies---------------Entity dies.
The End.

The ancients gods can sing and dance
The modern ones can speak in tongues
And none of them wants marbles
When gold is what they are after
Help the poor with treats
But give the rich their banquet
Show your face in charities
But mingle socially with celebrities
And if you must spent lavishly
Do so to those with deep pockets
And throw away your old and unwanted
To brings smiles to the less fortunate
Be seen among the movers and shakers
And not the small time thieves and beggers
Nothing is free is their life policy
Agents are prostitutes in disguise

I listen to the loneliness of those that reside here, to hell with the world and all its fear, dont spend your time in contemplation, of what it could have been, you are all it was and all you could have been, tomorrow is not the beginning or all that you could have seen,, if it ends right here,, if it ends today, its what come what may, its not what you did and its not what you say! Over and out? or not?

If only privacy existed
if only I could be unlisted
if only I had more time
if only these chains felt fine
I would break away in a heartbeat
but reality’s a creep
the chains are dragging across the floor
and killing my feet
Chaos all around
No order ever found
If I could run I’d hit the ground
Never looking back
Never being found
Living forever in a private compound.
But that will never be the case
Every eye is watching me from every face
if only I could leave without a trace.
But I’m found
I’m bound and tied and beating to their drum
Finding myself never felt so numb

Here it is
The cherished secret:
Time twists the arrows of years
With unspeakable ease.
Soon comes merry Christmas
With window lights.
If my memory doesn't sleep
With someone else
And I remember it right,
The creation of this world
Belongs to God, opening doors,
And an Angel, bringing good luck ...
I'm at the crossroad now.
I would like to have an anti-shock heart
Or an ampoule filled with fast poison .
It looks like they don't care,
They don't believe in us and never cry,
Those Celestial Realm Captains:
God, opening doors
And an Angel, bringing good luck

A stone wall weathers with age
It's number becomes more feint
A beginning more distant away
What makes a spirit finally rest
Still dressed in its Sunday best
See how time wears us down
So when a leaf falls to the ground
Slowly becoming dust turning brown
Perhaps erased by the sands of time
Endlessly shaping in the ground
Just biding my time I guess
I think I’ll just hang around
Run a little while longer if I can
Separating who knows what from where
No hurry to be already gone then there
