Tears Of My Sorrow

Doom and gloom, sadness and depression settle around me like a heavy fog, squeezing the life out of me. Anything good is being forced out and ever more and more I feel like an empty toothpaste tube, nothing left inside.

So here I stand like an old derelict building, deserted by even the rats, waiting for the wrecker’s ball to forge it’s way through my walls. My life crashing around me, scattered pieces at my feet.

I can make out patterns, tell what some of these pieces had been and where they had fitted into my life. Too late, too late these pieces make sense.

As I watch, drops of rain disturb the dusty ground, forming rivulets. The realisation hits me, it is I causing this rain, it is the tears of my sorrow.

Dark knight of Ashen light

Dark knight of Ashen light

Guardian of darkness,
Mount of dragon,
King of dungeon,
House of royal.

Fierce and loyal,
Blood lust warrior,
Messenger of death,
Bane of the holy angels.

Devourer of a thousand demons,
Black magic are nothing to him,
Grandmaster Ashshashin,
Second in command for the hosts of hades!

He battles for the sight of blood,
He lives for the killing of a thousand more,
Might and anger is his ultimate strength,
Nothing can stand in His way,so they say. . . .

Picky and Lonely

Picky and Lonely were best of friends,
And sworn enemies of happiness,
They decided to work together,
That it would be better to just forget her,
Picky said "She's just a girl.",
Lonely chimed in "We dont need her.",
Then happiness cried tears like rain,
And happiness ran away...

ghosts

Darkness off the night
The kiss of the frost in the air
Moving tree sssss
Flutter
The cold darkness
Shadows
The wind blows hisses sssss in the trees
Shadows envelopes
Darkness scares presenses white glowing outlines
Slow movement
Whispers of voices beware
The glowing spectures
Of them who have been
Life now gone from them
Resident of time past the wind echos from the stone headstones
Their name careved the rememberd they are

The Dark Call

Darkness beckons with pretty fingers
Silken voice
Smooth like honey
Come make a choice
Enter in my warmth
Let me enter you
Together, I can make your wildest dreams come true
Afraid to go in
My head starts to spin... I see the shapes
They twist within, writhing, no dancing...
I hear my name
Dark at war with the light
As I stand on the edge
Fight or flight
A victim of Medusa, I must be
Please help me
I want to flee
Oh come to me now
Love's truest Knight
And take me o'er
Help me fight
I will not surrender
I have a hope still
While I'm alive,
It is called...
My Will.

About this poem:
thinking about desires, and the need to remain logical and not surrender to those desires... don't know if to call this a poem though...or whether it is dark poetry or fantasy...maybe both

Ma Vie

I said it would be different
prosperity was mine,
but mine was just a hopeless wish
an idea with no time.

It ebbed and flowed
with fierce desire,
too late I call myself
a liar.

I tried but what was meant
was naught;
a goal I thought that
any sought.

The little girl- a little fool
whose dreams were all for naught.
Twas happiness and friendship,
goodwill was what she sought.

And now the years have
loosed their bounds,
so swiftly and
without a sound.

The grand finale
yet to come,
a song of life
whose end is one.

Soul Survival

Times are very hard...you see,
the shadows have enveloped me,

Life's trials and tribulations
have beaten down my heart.
My arm,my foot,my very life
have come to fall apart.

Berated , robbed, and
broke for sure,
my melancholy knows
no cure.

Stripped of all
my hearts desire,
greed and pain
have doused the fire.

Yet I struggle to survive,
I'm here just quietly alive.

Miloas

What fiend attacks me now?

I'm not sure why or how.

It's ice and then it's fire.

Will I reach my one desire?

My moods are like the shadows
that come and go at will,

rising even higher and
falling deeper still.

In solitude, I write and feel.

In solitude, I bend and kneel.

The Tide Of Life

Time moves on
as on this earth
men live and die
each day
Humanity wallows in wretchedness
Men steal, lie, kill
plunder one another
People deceive each other
There is no end
to pain, suffering, agony
Yet
in quiet moments
my mind reaches out
and makes contact
with some mysterious source
some cosmic awareness
which moves me strangely
I sense something
I cannot describe
but only feel
Who knows what secrets
are locked up
in this vast universe
or in the human mind?
What things have substance
and what have not?
What is Truth and Beauty?
Are they just empty words?
Or are they tied up somehow
with this strangeness
I feel?
Perhaps tomorrow
I will know
but meanwhile
I must continue
to feel
the things I feel
and to think
the thoughts I think
for wretched life or not
Life must go on

Black

Embedded image from another site

When my darkness felt light it was never again satisfied
Until it swallowed the sun leaving my hope endless nights
My eyes affixed upon the brilliant silver light of the moon
But the same nothing wanted a taste until it too was consumed
As I wished upon stars burning like candles in the sky
Blood from my hand touches canvas of white
With my heart I made sand castles for tides to wash away dreams
Behind the echoes of never was the quietness of never will wants to be
Focussing on whispered silhouettes adjusting to night
The pilots soul searches deeper through the curiosity inside
Shadows rise and fall while some enchantingly danced around
Illuminating a golden annulus then dressing the demon in his gowns
Softly my fingers trace a path across sandblasted skin
Releasing a sigh igniting the dead flesh from my sins
Haloed angels stare upon the creation of a pieced together life
Fankenstein takes away innocence killing his virgin bride
Devouring constellations, burning heaven, and freezing hell
The empty voids of darkness must have won, because black is all I felt
