Pipin

Fort of Foreigners

Five hundred miles the crow flies across the Irish Sea
to a land of the ancient 'Pass of the Cold Stream'
far into the hills to pass on a message to thee
'Fate was meant to be and you are my destiny'.

She waited what had seemed to be a thousand years
and wished at times she never echanged a word
but still years later she still found herself in spheres
about that unpleasant night of the incurred.

But

She did send the crow away back across the Irish Sea
to the "fort of the foreigners" down south
carrying a message to dying beloved thee
'Do not come and seek me in the dragon's mouth'

About this poem:
Sadly, sometimes the brutal truth can kill the one who was meant to be.

Strength within

I was not asking for an heart ripping battle - yet you declared war!

You thought that with each knock and a louder roar you aimed at me

That you scared me and had me falling to the floor

BUT

Instead you made me stronger than ever before

From the external hull to my inner core

I will not give up! I will not give in!

As you cannot make me fall because I never will let you win!

Mephistophilus

The sun shone in their eyes like diamonds in the sea
when the devil came to her for no one to see,
Twenty six they counted that very night
when her burning fire inside distinguished its light.

Many moons passed by autumns of life
but by then there were only Mephistopheles of five
the maiden then had long lost her inner child and soul
from missionaries to licentious slave masters as a whole.

The essence of amour came her way
only to be snatched and left in decay
In forgotten time slowly black nights turned to silver
when chance came she pulled the caliver

A thousand and one were buried that past
when she walked out into the light through the everblast
the servant without a soul and heart
free from torment and torture of body part.

Years gone by across the water with worlds in between
the living dead recovered but the devil was never again to be seen;
As immortality follows her everywhere and afield
she sought after a shining knight in armor at wield.

When Nothing Remains

Embedded image from another site

The world is on standby awaiting for a hero to come save the day
For an end of an era or the beginning of change
Some believe in revolution while some say we're already near the end
But the one thing I'm assured of is death will come by our own hand
Building war machines and then honoring the dead
Is there really a chance for salvation or is this just in our heads
Some believe we will be saved by little green men from outer space
As others kneel before Gods and at the dinner table say grace
While science tries to teach us we're just monkeys that learned to become men
And since the first discovery of fire we've let it consume our compassion
Now we're just religious and atheist primates that stopped throwing our own shit
Instead we created bigger bombs and sell guns to little kids
And don't get involved with prophesies made by ancient civilization
It doesn't take rocket science to predict obvious observation
Death doesn't wear a mask and he doesn't wear a black robe
He is not the harvester of sorrow or the harvester of souls
He doesn't wield a bloody scythe and he doesn't ride a dark horse
He looks just like me and you, could we be so oblivious
Its two minutes until midnight our inevitable doom
But if I could set the clock backwards I would spend more time with you
Aliens and angels, gods and demons rising from hell
The fact is that we're capable of killing and destroying ourselves
Long before tidal waves and meteors wipe away the tears of our hurt
We'll already lay in a shallow grave of un shoveled ashed earth
Millennia's of collecting knowledge is our wisdom arrogance or just ignorant
A world ran by greedy politicians and ruled by dumbfounded dip shits
Maybe we are just monkeys yet to evolve into a more advanced race
But evolution has little chance as long as man has a face
As long as we hold desires the pipers song will always be the same
But who wins the battle when nothing remains

Last Seconds

As I fall ever earthwards
Closer I am to my death
Wind is rushing past my ears
Setting up such a howling din

I spread my arms to slow my fall
And realise that I have feathers
Catch the wind to rise up high
On the thermals I am soaring

I dip and dive and roll to the left
Watch the earth below me
See the fields stretching far
And the blue ocean beyond them

To my right I see a house
This place that I call home
There my darling waits for me
And my son and two daughters

Then I realise, was just a wish
My chute still hasn't opened
Have time to say a silent goodbye
As my body hurtles earthwards

Damaged People (short poem)

Damaged people
you meet online,
are they seeking love?
or there to blow your mind?

Some speak of trust
ladies after money
words of milk and honey,
dressed up in forlorn lust...

Perhaps in the real world
you might know their name,
with damaged people
life is just a game...

Sometimes I am unsure
as to who I am talking to,
could just be a picture
or a vulture after you...

weir and teir

From knife to wrist, rope to neck, and blood to floor. The girl who has never ben herd now is dead and everyone now cares. They say what they would do if they "knew." But they did know, they all knew the pain they put her threw they just don't care. And when the feeling bad ends there are the "cool" girls who change there minds and say "she deserved it" or "she was only looking for attention." There not growing up. I guess everyone has to die for them to get a clue.

Unleashed

I dreamed of deep strewn poetry
yet scattered upon the floor
kicked amongst the history
lay bleeding against the door

as strewn papers
and blood within the words
shrilled such wrong
mine eyes

feared to look away
What! such grace
that one has shown
to fall upon your face

grappling irons
lay silent
as hanging
nightmares

stilled at times
with grief
and yet

as shadows of my night
came to only haunt
my sudden flight

sewer streams
flowed between my legs
care not I cast

as lips
cursed
within my blood

take me away
I shall flow

scraping voices
within the mud

Last Few Seconds

Can you imagine the deafening chanting
As the tears evaporate at the rising of the sun
Your obsession to orchestrate scatters in the wind
And like a caged animal battles with insanity
Sitting there melancholic, sober and thirsty
Empty ladle in hand, waiting, waiting
Waiting to alleviate this all enveloping lunacy

Like a backward origami you unfold from the ground
Arms waving as if scribbling your name across the sky
Is this the highlight of your existence ?
Having grazed so close to insanity , and survived
This dose of so called truth and reality
As the shot rings out, the splatter of blood on wall
And the splintering of here and now

A Fleeting Moment

For all the tangled journeys
a jumble
of laughter

at times
of anguished tears

to feel
the soft silken road

lifting screams of supreme allure
then afloat
a guiding wip

only the words of near
yet so far
a breath so stolen

hinged upon the madness

seeking melting within ones mouth
to only
Spit upon the worthy
then raise

clawed and bent
the closure of the den

Of stagnant waters
yet a running
of memory flows

You stand amongst me now
as i so trodden within the deep

I did
but only love

a mirror within my keep

let not you pray upon me
no please I beg

for you have known the dark
of words can only seal

I may have wronged you
pray pity on my life

I need not know
the
others
I turned and watched
throughout the strife

As aged legs and hollow eyes
See me
For I squander the meager
yet feel the narrowness gone

I shall not despise you
yet yes
you would of me

To hold what crumbled
soulless

I can only part to thee

I hear the rats of hunger
I feel the biting time

rags slipping from wracken limbs

a hope of life in death

or

to die
and just be dead

whom shall place the flowers

Do I know?
I am dead
