The Hammer Of God

He’s a liar, a thief and a fornicator
To me he is the scum of the earth
Doesn’t matter if it is male or female
To him they’re the same, makes no distinction

I can hear the blood in my ears pounding
The rage burns, it is consuming me
Voice keeps talking, guiding me
One hammer blow and dead he lays

On street corner the harlot stands
An abomination to all that’s right
Flaunts her body, talks so crude
Does she think that I would want her

Again the voice speaks quite clearly
I know my duty, what must be done
Through the air my hammer flashes
Split her skull, blood everywhere

God praises my swift action
Tells me I am his beloved son
I must rid the world of evil
One by one I must slay them down

You don’t understand, I have a mission
Don’t measure up, then you are on my list
Only those that are blessed saintly
Will survive the wrath of God

Ad Infinitum

Screams of tomorrow
Echo through the jagged existence
Of yesteryear

Tears down the face stream
As the pain of knowledge
Becomes unbearable

Like flashes of lightning
What has been intrudes into now
Tainting perceptions of what is to come

Even amongst this cacophony
Of the celestial orchestra
There are periods of silence

Silence so intense you can hear
The tears of the butterflies
As they hit the ground

And the groan of the Earth
As she picks up her skirt readying herself
For another cycle

In the midst of all this
Sits he quietly
Questioning his sanity

My Veggie Garden

Not one to date has escaped their plight
Though God knows they put up a fight

Above the mincer they hung on a chain
While I laughed and slowly sipped champagne

Slowly I dropped them, the mincer was fed
While their screams echo around in my head

Usually stay alive til it reaches their waist
To make sure they did not die in haste

People ask me what is my secret
The veggies I grow are in top condition
I smile and say, ‘blood and bone I use.’
And that I declare is my only admission

Across the plains I see a glimmering light
Beyond the horizon where the day fades out the night
The grass is grown from the roots of all my sins
Beneath the dirt is where my salvation will begin
There stands a house and its yellowing in mold
Beside a window is where I sit alone
The walls are cold and the bricks are falling out
So you could see inside and I can let it out
Within these walls is where I call my home
Id love to leave this place but I have nowhere else to roam
If I had wings I would uplift myself and soar
Up to the heavens ,but this is the only hell I know

I than looked up to the heavenly sky
but temptation burned my wings before I learned to fly
Again I looked up to a new sunny sky
but than my heart gets blistered and my mouth tongue twisted and tied

"Common Sense"

What do u see when u look at me
Can u see the hatred behind my soft gazing eyes
Can u see the scars i suffered through the way i walk
Can u hear my thoughts from my charming voice
Or taste the evil in the air when im close by
Can u sense the plots running through my head
What about the way i play in the rain to wash my sins
Or the fear that haunts u when u touch my skin
Can u feel the power within me
When u read this can u answer "yes" to any of it?
If u can then the rest is common sense.

Pain

If you look past my smile you see darkness, but no one ever gets to know me enough to see it. No one cares enough to look for it. All the pain my so called friends put me threw. It's not fun anymore. They hurt me and I wont get my happiness back, I wont get my life back. When I look in my mirror I dont see Emily, I see a girl who has ben torn to the point of breakege and cant be fixed. When I lost the only one I could talk to, I didn't know where lese to go. Now im keeping all this inside and covering it with a smile and sealing it with
a laugh.

monster sleep

let the monster sleep
release the cracken
the monster from down deep
a parting of the waves
destroying all emotions
with a rage an almighty roar
parting of our ways
one look from you stone cold
a warm heart
killing me without thought
the crackens way
turning cold loveless
making a stone of your heart
let the monster sleep
leave him buried in the deep
like the hounds of hell
chained to a bottomless pit
locked in the deepest depths
the crevices of your heart
only then love will shine

Midnight Moonrise

Rising slowly above the resting woods
A shining beacon cresting o'er the hill
Less faithful is the night and worldly goods
Predations friend coming in for her kill

So great your sorcerous spirit at night
Can safely only hide in your shadow
Legends of sorrow be blamed in your sight
Places where the quail cry in the meadow

Where all speech is soft, all manners gentle
Mumbled creatures cover with hooded heads
Murmers and chanting all transcendental
Cloaked in their long robes with darker threads

To safely watch in her shadow is odd
Precession of a perihelion god

About this poem:
Referencing Cynthia, an alternative name for the Greek moon goddess Artemis. I don't know what possessed me to write this.

snake

you entered my garden
hiding the truth
you entered eden
laying waste her beauty
as your ugly head of truth
appeared in your lies
you ate the apple
destroying a beautiful love
creating a vile nightmare
as you show me hell
hurt so heartfelt
leaving your awful scar
a reminder of you
possesed or not possesed
your a nightmare
destroying the house of eden
as this feeling decays
the rot fills my garden
with the pain
a volcano
my heart burns
you created my hell
as you slithered around
my twilight of darkness
lie the decoy
to the truth
