A.D.H.D

She talks alot and rarely asks
She changes topic so quick
Distraction is her ruler
Medication to help thoughts stick

Neglect can be a problem
And she has a short temper
She forgets to keep appointments
Its really hard for her

90 miles a minute
Its sometimes hard to keep up
A factory of ideas and thoughts
Oh brain will you ever shut up

Conversation is no obstacle
Intelligent and so bright
Quick to point out mistakes
Also quick to stir up a fight

She feels like shes a failure
That her efforts turn to sand
If it wasnt for this disorder
She could probably rule the land

Bye for a While

I wish I had seen it.

My place is so temporary.

There is a time for speech there is time for silence.

My words there troubled and confused to some of you.

Know what must be done living in a heartless unconnected

physical community is a challenge for sure.

Loosing all good family.

Oh living in Redneck central is such a B*###**

A Prayers Journey.

A goodnight prayer said for me in The States,
Is flown by an Angel up to Heaven's Pearly Gates,
There it's carefully wrapped in a tiny silver shroud,
For collection by a Fairy on a white fluffy cloud,
With a wave of her wand she crosses the sky,
Directly to Ireland in the blink of an eye,
There she slides down the rainbow where the Leprechauns live,
And to these little people the parcel she gives,
"It's a special wish from America and inside you must not peep,
Simply whisper it into Mickie's ear while he is sound asleep,
But you must travel promptly now and promise you won't delay,
This prayer from Molly might just be the one,
That cures his Cancer today".

Gotta Simplify

Cluttered, Psychologically cluttered
With material objects in our lives
Chaotic moments. restless souls
Mental clarity a thing of the past
Elusive, unattainable, won't last

Universal law, ancient and true
We've been told get rid of old
Make room for blessings new
We all know, practiced only by few
Gotta have space for more blessings to flow!

Take a tour in my closet full of clothes
Trousers a plenty; tops too many
You said haven't worn for a year? Bin it baby!
Or at least hit the road to nearby Salvation Army
Be a blessing to others, let it flow lavishly!

chilled...

Under the casuarina tree
where the sand meets the sea
and the gulls drift in the breeze
as they live a life of ease
where the whitecaps show the way
of the wind having it's say
and different colours allow the sea
to show the depths there may be
and the clouds march along
the horizon big and strong
where the warmth of your touch
relaxes me so much
i feel the coils unwind
as i leave the week behind
and drift into that place
where time has no grace
amidst my thoughts and dreams
i am relaxed and so it seems.......

Big C Battle.

At first the enemy struck and I felt weak,
Pointed needles stung, future bleak,
A shroud of grey draped hairless skin,
Hiding fear and loneliness deep within,
Dreary clouds roamed darkened skies,
As icy winds burned tearful eyes,
Then slowly...Heavenly Light appeared,
In golden beams that quelled my fears,
Thoughts of losing summoned strength,
To battle back and not relent,
I have now found peace inside the war,
Therein lies my victory roar,
Emerging from my trench to brave the slant,
Prognosis seems irrelevant.

reach for the stars..........

Life is so delicate
so absolutely unique
so many walks of life
so many pleasures that you seek
for some tho a different tale
not much fun at all
illness rears its ugly head
no joys to befall
it may come at an early age
and suffer all childhood thru
others get struck down later
when life has its own view
spare a thought for those who seek
a better quality of life
with prayers they reach for the stars
to overcome their strife
this is my prayer ...my word
with ink that flows with love
may your journey be a happy one
guided from above
may the earth abound in all its glory
to help you along the way
to assist you in your healing
one step at a time day after day
may the friends you have show you
what real love is all about
from the depths of their caring
from the humour in their shout
i wish you well like so many do
united we may change
the outcome of your destiny
brave people and their pain.........

Trapped

Total silence, there are no sounds
All around blackness abounds
Where am I? I do not know
As I lay here time moves so slow

I cannot move, I think I’m dead
The thought of this fills me with dread
For all eternity here I will lay
And slowly rot into decay

And then the sun brings morning again
I remember, I am trapped, here in my brain

Cold

My nose drips like a leaky faucet
I can't enjoy the things that I eat
My head is fuzzy
My heart is beating too fast
All I want to do is sleep
Where did I get this cold?
Was it from a coworker?
Was it from a public place like the mall?
I wish I would have gotten my flu shot
I wish I could sleep better
My head is hot
I think I'll curl up on the couch and watch tv
The Office, Super Bowl playoff games, and Stepbrothers
I have a cold and it sucks

Bad Prognosis.

He stared at me with ashen face,
A miserable handshake too,
Before his mouth could spew the words,
"Results not good" .....I knew.
Prognosis on a mere sheet of paper,
My body returning to mud,
Written in red I'm reading in tears,
His handwriting...my warm blood.
In haste my fate did travel,
Fast on the wings of bad news,
Warped and distorted my story broke free,
As the truth landed battered and bruised.
One fatal mistake they all did make,
In predicting my impending doom,
That power belongs to God in his Heavens,
So I haven't yet ordered my tomb.
