I’m not a poet I’m just a nice lad
Who writes lots of poems when happy or sad
Artistic I’m not but I’ll give it a lash
My pockets are empty I’m desperate for cash
Clever oh no with an IQ of nine
Writing with words that seemingly rhythme
Left school so early regretting it now
It wasn’t my fault that grumpy old sow
No not of big words a poet I’m not
But try I shall do first prize is a lot
I’m an honest lad who loves a good snooze
I’ve sent sixty poems I surely can’t lose
I honestly don’t know if Poetry needs plot
If that’s the case my Poetry has not
I’ve asked me ma what Poetry’s about?
She said use big words that come from your mouth!
I never win competitions but for this I’m not sad
For I’m certainly no Poet I’m just a nice lad!

You left me in complete bliss
Drunken from your kiss
Your soft pink lips
left kisses ever so soft
Felt like butterfly
Kisses upon my lips
The taste of your kisses
Sweeter then honey
Keeps me wanting more
Your kisses I adore
A long soft gentle kiss can not be beat
Turns up the heat
Nibbling on your bottom lip
Is a complete trip
When our mouths melt as one
That feeling can't be undone
Your warm hot breath
Upon my neck
Oh heck
Drives me crazy !

Went to Goodwill
What a thrill!
I usually go out of there empty handed
Feeling like an L on my forehead was branded
But
In the CD section I was browsing hoping for the most
When along came Luther Vandross
A song he did with a woman with hits by the ton
Her name was Janet Jackson
Brother Michael did better with a style came off as sometimes mean
With hits like Ben, Rock With You, and Billie Jean
This song didn't chart very high on the Billboard Charts
But still it is dear to my heart
Let's Wait Awhile, Nasty, Escapade, When I Think Of You were great
This song somehow put me in a state
Of pure joy
How can I explain it
Oh boy
Like Janet says at the beginning of the song
Are you ready?

Buyao weijing I enunciated
or something very similar
had the flavour right I'm sure
which was precisely the point
the waitress grinned
Shi de
Shi de
no MSG please
useful if food additives
turn your Chinese dining experience
into stomach churn
seems a shame
much Oriental food
is plagued by it
Buyao weijing
Buyao weijing
I'll keep practicing

I never knew how lucky I have been
The beauty of this world I have seen
I’ve taken it for granted for so long
Now is the time to be strong
Time is revealing itself to me
My body is getting older I can see
And with it comes the aches and pain
Soldiering on in nature’s rain
So why do I feel so undone
Everyday used to be fun
Now I am not so sure
Tentative to walk out the door
It’s only my sight that’s giving way
A doctors trip to have his say
Will soon reveal what lays ahead
And maybe soothe my thoughts instead
This is not the first time I’ve been compromised
A lifetimes of injuries lay with my sighs
But I have always managed to overcome
Rise above not be out done
Somehow this feels so much more
My vision oh how I adore ........

Got my shot yesterday at 9:30 in the morning
Was alright till last night
When I kept waking up
Over and over again
Now my knee hurts
I'm tired
My head hurts a lot
But hopefully I can get over these symptoms by Monday
Then on June 10 I can get rid of the mask at work

Watching Reagan on YouTube
chat show
smoother than I remember
folksy, late seventies
having just come out of Governor of California
he looked good
didn't look like he was pitching for the White House
but '81 was coming..
Launch of neo-liberalism
which is precisely why you don't have a job
or if you do it doesn't pay
how's that possible
from a former lifeguard?
I only remember the the assassination attempt
then the mental deterioration
I guess we should be grateful things went well
with Gorby
better than the current NATO encirclement of Russia
taunting the bear.

A heart preserved. The native(s) paint the picture of the spoken word. The universal rhythm. Paint me a picture of realisation. We can count in the dark, but did logic form in dark?
In these difficult times I consider my friends my best friends.
And the world turns...

Safari suit Lenny
never short a penny
our man in Africa
1955
Oxbridge dilettante
drinking from the font
of suntanned woman
a man alive
No compunction
is how Lenny functions
cocktails bourgeoise
with others wives
The colonial obsession
that brought repression
set Mau Mau boys
on the rise
