Your smile is the light that brightens up the darkness in the night, your the stars and the half moon, the stars are the twinkle in your eyes and the half moon is the smile on your face.

I'm sitting alone in a store full of books;
Why have people turned into crooks?
There's lots of people but not with me,
Guess I'll have to climb a tree!
It's been years since my union failed;
Guess I'm too much to be entailed.
Too odd I am -eccentric-YES,
But I always do my best!
Is there noone for this romantic lost-
Love comes from the heart-there is no cost.

Haiku. 575 (Nature)
one spoonful of earth
teeming with tiny creatures
each with huge purpose
Senryu. 575 (Human Foibles)
youths stared down at phones
a full rainbow blessed the sky
alas they missed it

Field of daffodils
brazen yellow, sun kissed
petals, brightly greet
The dawn of the day
magically the sun rises
flooding with colour
Gently the stems quake
as caught by the breeze they shake
quiver in its wake
Matching yellow bird
soars over the display of beauty
adding its sweet notes
A vision of bliss
such a simple little thing
the joy of nature

soft wafting music
drifting filling the night air
with romantic tunes
bower of flowers
full of sweet scented blossoms
alive with colour

By sand drift and sea
a girl in bright feathered green
Gatsby and champagne
Lend me your cloche
flappers dancing the Charleston
jazz and etiquette
tennis racquet times
romance in the Duesenberg
picnic on the Sound
