Through the mirrored glass,
Lies the impossible
It is not so transparent?
Even to the trained eyes
Can you notice a snake in the grass?
Unravel the ultimate lie
Isn't it so apparent......
Untouched version of the truth
We try to find in desperation
Is it to much to ask
Clearly seek and you shall find
Useless words... can be so unkind
But in the end ... it to shall pass

I think of you tonight,
I wanna see you alright
Will you come close to me
I wanna see those eyes free
Let me touch your hair
Let me kiss you right there
In me i know i love you,
And I know you don't know
Things go slow when you're around
And i want you here and bond
Its crazy how much i want you baby
It hurt so deep i cant get away
I'll be here watching
Your smile is everlasting
Enough to know your there
Even if i know we cant be as a pair

I CAN'T REMEMBER
Just a line to say I'm living
That I'm not among the dead,
Though I'm getting more forgetful
And mixed up in the head.
I got used to my arthritis.
To my dentures I'm resigned.
I can manage my bifocals,
But God, I miss my mind.
For sometimes I can't remember
When I stand at the foot of the stairs,
If I must go up for something,
Or have I just come down from there?
And before the 'fridge so often,
My poor mind is filled with doubt;
Have I just put some food away, or
Have I come to take some out?
And there is time when it is dark
With nightcap on my head . . .
I don't know if I'm retiring, or
Just getting out of bed.
So, if it's my turn to write you,
There's no need for getting sore.
I may think that I have written
And don't want to be a bore.
Just, remember that I love you
And wish that you were near,
But now it's nearly mail time so,
I must say goodbye, My dear.
Here I stand beside the mailbox,
With a face so very red . . .
Instead of mailing you my letter,
I've opened it instead!

Once more we see the signs of the restart
as nature wakens plants with her magic art.
We laugh as at long last winter does depart
leaving us full of joy and light of heart.
Leafy branches conceal from sight the hart
by the still pond bees and dragonflies dart.
The lovers dreamily stare then drift apart
startled as one of the cows gives off a fart.
The posy opens slyly showing off its blackheart
only to be smothered by the nettle upstart.
The cook is busy making a large fruit tart
while in the parlour the cows gives us a quart.
Spring so full of promise show us your heart
as you bring vibrant life and a brand new start.

A dead man tells no tale
Even if you grab him by his tail
or hammer him with a nail
He is nothing without his soul
Sometime you are in a situation that you can't cope
you must try hard not to loose hope
and dont end your life in a rope
otherwise you will be a big flop
There no time to die today
just bow down and pray
and GOD will see your cry
soon he will drop something on your tray
and you will find another way

Wisdom whispers in your ear
Tells you in a soft voice
All you need to hear
When you make the wrong choice
Let’s make one thing clear
If you only listen to yourself
You don’t have much to fear
Life can throw a few curves
You swing you miss they jeer
And just as quickly you swerve
Hit a home run and they cheer
So…when wisdom whispers in your ear
Let it tell you in the softest tones
Words you will hold so dear

~ A Christmas Ring ~
Wish upon your Christmas Tree
Maybe it will come true
A ring around your Finger
Would it be just right for you?
A Christmas Tree wish for Connecting Singles
Wishing that wish comes true!
Does he know your size and what to say or do
A Christmas ring will bring you happiness
When you hear him say!
Will you be his girl forever, on this Christmas day
Give him love and affection
From your loving heart
~ You will live and love together and never, never part ~
Merry Christmas
Rings on her fingers
Bells on her toes
Will he give her a ring this Christmas
Only heaven knows!

I can smell the wood fires burning
Lighting up the hillside with their smoke
Like so many chimneys on the ridge line
Burning bright hot with seasoned oak
Casting up spires like great castles
Cathedrals with styles most baroque
Warmth is promised in abundance
Whatever your comfort may invoke
We gather round the table for supper
And in great earnest a prayer is spoke
The candles burn throughout the night
Such peaceful purpose they evoke
A mood that burns with a soft glow
Good hearted as our mountain folk

Each earth's journey will always end
We'll miss a loved one or a friend
Why be sad when souls are free?
They're closer to God than you and me.
Hearts are not made of stone and steel
Joy and pain we'll always feel
Happiness and sorrow are so real
Life and pain are a package deal
Choose love and light, a way to heal!

Do be careful my friend
For the enemy is on the prowl
Ready to snatch,to steal
the treasure that's bestowed.........your banquet meal
Be mindful my dear friend
Of the prescense of the peaceful one
His gentle touch,His whisper
And the sweet sweet scent so richly soaked in puritys aroma
Take heed, take care,
discern.
Choose life not death my friend
For both of them are real
