A POEM BY A MAN CONSUMED W/CONTRITION ~free!~

and i MEAN THAT DEVOUTLY it's just most of your e-mails are like telling me stuph i've long ago lost intest in....such as if i use a word out of context, despite the fact that i did it purposelly....i just want people to wake up and think about Jesus, whether or not He was The Son Of Man i do not know, but I can say with surety that a man named Jesus of Nazareth walked this earth....now think about what a world this would be if everyone lived as He proscribed. I wouldn't be an arrogant moron, the first Bush didn't want war, no babies are ever killed, sexually mutilated and thown into the nearest dumpster. Methinks my Lord and Savior would frown upon what we are doing to this planet whereupon lobbyists in Wash.D.C.take $ to produce medications he wouldn't give his family because one of the side effects may be that you WILL DIE!

THEY SAID REPENT AND I WONDERED WHAT THEY MEANT

I revel in close calls
And that which I do takes balls
I’m comfortable hanging by a thread
While I eliminate the thought of my being dead

I swim through rough waters against the tide
And just keep repeating “Satan is on my side”
One must be aware of what turning a corner may bring
Because I look at life as if it is simply a fling

Each day is a joke and I am its punch line
And I don’t advise anyone to live a life like mine
It’s frightening and fearful and every day I fret
I worry about those I will meet and those I have met

I’m a man who lives with close calls and has balls
As I wander through lengthy and eerily dark halls
There’s always the haunting sound of someone turning a knob
And that’s what makes being an addict such a difficult job

A pledge

A PLEDGE

I PLEDGE TO LOVE YOU
AND CHERISH EVERY THING YOU ARE

FROM YOUR HEART TO YOUR SOUL

I DEVOTE ALL THAT I AM
TO KEEP YOU HAPPY AND SAFE
AND SMILE EACH AND EVERY DAY
FOR AS LONG AS WE BOTH SHALL LIVE
AND GIVE WHAT EVER IS NEEDED
NO QUESTIONS ASKED
THAT IS MY PLEDGE TO YOU
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE THRU AND THRU
FOR THIS IS MY PLEDGE FOR
LOVING AND MARRYING YOU

A Special World

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

making breakfast for the wolves

Making breakfast for the Wolves

We offer gall to sheep seeking clear brook water.
Brown fields have deputized themselves,
laying waste green pastures.
The sun is gorged with fire before
it peeks above the Eastern rim.
Autumn now bargains with passing artists
for their pallets.
Horse drawn sleighs that sliced through powdered snow,
that pealed hello, faces laughing
all aglow, now sink in mire,
the only sound, the chewing mud.
We are the Shylock artist stroking wide
a swath of paint on canvas, the color of lost.
And in our pretended effort we have become
breakfast for the wolves.
We have become the thirsty lamb.

About this poem:
The maintenance man, at the request of a tenant cut branches from a tree outside her window so she could see the driveway.?? I thought what would happen if the tree did not turn c leaves because they could no longerolors in the fall because of too much cutting? Would we bargin an artist for his pallet to paint the colors on the leaves because they could no change themselves. There is no more snow for sleighs oly wet mud and mireand the sleighs are chewed up by the mud. Have we become so lax ss to give gall to a thirsting lam as they did the Lamb of God? Is there any hopthat we will care or will we become breakfast for the wolves??

But no one see's the tears in my eyes written by Fernicia Shuffler Francis

The pictures are gorgeous, the make up does well
But it is all a beautiful mask, to hide the hell
My eyes look dry, as the camera rolls
But my hear is broken, with a troubled soul
My knees are bruised, crying out to the heavens
My forehead is bowed low, earlier than seven
Begging and pleading, set my broken heart free
Dismayed and desperate, still no one hears me
Think positive they say, the feeling will go away
But it don't matter how I think, I does not change the day
Because nothing is new under the sun
Praying, praising and pleading and getting the same result is no fun
So am I weak to be in despair when I come to you?
Is this why my prays are not heard by you?
And with ever disappointment I encourage others to trust you for it is wise
But I have been trusting you and no one sees the tears in my eyes.

About this poem:
A woman always on her knees, with unwavering faith, yet there is never an answer to her pray. It is difficult for her not to continue to trust because she believes in the word on God but she feels like god has only disappointed her, Still she will not remove her faith and trust in God.

She encourages others to trust in God despite her disappointment, because in her hear, God is God and will hear the pay of those who truly loves him, underneath, she cries because he has never answered her prays, blessed her or have any good fortune come into her life

The Carousel ??

Embryos wait for all to know...
Infants rejoice to hear"no"...
As we find an answer..
We believe that its all good...
Suddenly our world is fine...
Today we find another in our search...
To rise to a virtual peace...
We find the answer to share in the Result...

DIVINE RESOURCES

PEOPLE NEED EACH OTHER, IN YES SO MANY WAYS
SO LET US BE MORE HUMBLE, AND SHINE MORE LOVING RAYS
YES LET US BE MORE FRUITFUL, AND DARE TO CARE THE MORE
AND NOT BE SCARED TO REACH OUT, AND LEARN WHAT WE'RE HERE FOR
NO, LET US BE SO OPEN, TO RECIEVE LOVE JUST AS WELL,
FOR WHEN WE DO WE UNLOCK, HEAVENS GATE TO TELL,
YES TO TELL AND SHOW US MERCY, AND PATIENCE FOR OUR NEEDS
AND HOW MUCH WE CAN HAVE LIFE WORKING, FAR MORE FOR US INDEED.

I WROTE THIS POEM JUST TO CONVEY THE SIMPLICITIES OF A MORE MEANINGFUL LIFE. FOR WITHOUT LOVE AND CARE PROGRESSING IN US, WE WILL EITHER GET STAGNANT, OR START SLIPPING BACKWARDS...
