There is LIFE after death, but not in the way we all think...
I live in a house with my best friend and she is a MEDIUM, she does readings for people and can see and hear people who have passed over just like you would be able to see someone in real life...
They come through and give messages to her to give to her clients, that usually shock the hell out of them as its information that she would not have known, she had one lady who had 4 children come through and these kids gave my friend each of their names and ages and said to her to say hi to mummy, the client cried and told my friend that she had had 4 miscarriages and those were the ages and names that they would have been..Now tell me how the hell would my friend even know that at all, only the husband knew about it.....
So there is something out there whether you believe it or not, and I must admit its fantastic to know.....
2intrigued: I suppose it was lucky for me that he was of a conservative protestant...I remember him as a very kind and gentle soul who often visited my parents for tea. He knew me well because of my attendance at the church and through his visits. I don't deny my experiences at all...I just try to avoid discussing it because a lot of people don't understand with the exception of those who have experienced these things themselves. You know exactly what it's all about.
yes there is life after death. god has promised this.GOD said he who believes in me shall have eternal life( God does not lie). when we die we are in are graves to return to dust from which we are made from.and on the final judgement day we will all be resurected to answer for are sins while we where on earth.GOD gave us this world to live in and make it a great place. but we are failing, man is slowly distroying this world he gave us.this is some of what i believe.God will return to save man again( world war 3)if he does come to save us man will distroy everthing.God is a spirit that's why we can't see him, but he is there watching over us.

We have spirits in our house all the time, the tv comes on, the lights go on and off, we get touched, our names get called out, they help us sleep when we ask (and dont think im crazy they do) ask and you shall receive!!!
You can feel the energy when they are around, its warm and loving..I can smell my dads smokes when he is visiting also perfumes....
think about it people everyone has noticed something but we all dismiss it as something else...

It's always the people that are all bothered about what's gonna happen in the next life, who don't know how to live in this one.
The people who are fully alive, they don't care whats gonna happen in the next life, they're not bothered by it,they don't care.
I'm not worried about death.
you're on to something there...
It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance It's the one who won't be taken who cannot seem to give And the soul afraid of dying That never learns to live

Howdy Ardie--thank you, but I can't take any lit credit--it's "The Rose" which was the signature song for same movie Bette Midler starred in. One of my faves of all time, and it says so much. Nice to see you, you're such a super guy...you the best, you my bruthah from anothuh muthuh..and so forth...
RevMeta: The proof is, Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. That is a fact of basic physics. Since we are energy, what do you think we are? A body with a concious first? Or a conciousness confined to a body that is having experiences processed within a mound of physical mass with incredible and highly complicated electrical impulses and patterns formed the time of physical conception?
It always confuses me, when I try to figure out how somebody who believes in "The Laws of Thermodynamics..." can say, they don't believe in life after death.
anonymous1: .The post I responded to from RevMeta regarding the Laws of Thermodynamics, above your last post, was directed towards another post you made earlier...Would you mind responding to the intelligent reply regarding your earlier post... instead of ranting insults, and using personal attacks? .
That post was directed towards you Agent Ajax; sorry, I forgot to put in your name at first.

So in that case you would be with the assumption there was no big bang? If energy always was there would be no need for one correct? and while you think about it also go and visit the LHC site, where there is overwhelming proof for Einstein’s theory of relativity…. so I am puzzled now, why you feel energy always was?

and what does thermodynamics have to do with after life?

I think most scientists who believe in the "Big Bang," also believe in the "Laws of Thermodynamics;" what reason do you have to think RevMeta would assume there was no Big Bang"?
Nothing RevMeta said led me to think that.
While you're at the LHC, considering the overwhelming proof for Einsteins Theory of Relativity... why are you puzzled that people "feel energy always was?"
What did Einstein say, to make you think it wasn't?
If you believe, energy cannot be created, or destroyed... how is it possible for you to believe life can be destroyed? .
Wow I don’t believe that, I never said I did. I go by what information is up to date in hand and there is nothing that says either of those things to be correct in natural science. That is something quantum physics t put a claim to.

Excuse me, I guess I got mixed up by the post you made, which RevMeta responded to.
Please make 2 things clear to me...
1. Do you believe in, "Life after death?"
2. Do you believe in, "The Laws of Thermodynamics."
