How to measure a person's intelligence? Let the person open their mouth and speak. It will soon be apparent how intelligent they are. It is better to be thought stupid than to open one's mouth and prove it.

That of course depends on how intelligent the listener and judge is,,, I don't worry too much about my intelligence or what people think of it. There are some, who if they start to think I am intelligent,, I will check with a therapist.
Intelligence is the understanding of acceptance, forgiveness and love. You may be educated but if you do not know the ground rules your skills and degrees are worth nothing.
The Ancient Egyptians believed the heart was the center of intelligence and emotion. They also thought so little of the brain that during the mummification process, they removed the brain entirely from the bodies.

This makes sence to me. It's all about the gut, gut feelings, good and bad.

To me intelligence also has to do with how much someone is in touche with reality.... There are various degrees of that among humans,,,,
chris27292729: Weight the brain,.......less than average, less intelligence.Don't ask what the average brain weight is.!!!!!
I think there are better methods
From wikipedia: The adult human brain weighs on average about 3 lbs. (1.5 kg) with a volume of around 1130 cubic centimetres (cm3) in women and 1260 cm3 in men, although there is substantial individual variation. Men with the same body height and body surface area as women have on average 100g heavier brains, although these differences do not correlate in any simple way with gray matter neuron counts or with overall measures of cognitive performance.
None of the Above ,Intelligence Doesnt belongs to Education ,It is a Natural Thing and a Gift from God ,U can check the Intelligence By Character and Behaviour
Carl96190: None of the above. Look up how Mensa measures intelligence. It is primarily about reasoning ability.
Which intelligence do you want to measure? There are nine types. See what Howard Gardner's "Theory of Multiple Intelligences" says:
(quote) "In the heyday of the psychometric and behaviorist eras, it was generally believed that intelligence was a single entity that was inherited; and that human beings - initially a blank slate - could be trained to learn anything, provided that it was presented in an appropriate way. Nowadays an increasing number of researchers believe precisely the opposite; that there exists a multitude of intelligences, quite independent of each other; that each intelligence has its own strengths and constraints; that the mind is far from unencumbered at birth; and that it is unexpectedly difficult to teach things that go against early 'naive' theories of that challenge the natural lines of force within an intelligence and its matching domains. (Gardner 1993: xxiii)

The weight of the brain has nothing to do with intelligence, but the neurons and if they connect to produce cognition.
their are many kinds of inteligence. Some have more social inteligence.. others will be better at facts and numbers. Who is to say wich kind is more important?.. I believe a smart person would have a well balanced knowledge on all aspects.
