Attention seeking, or maybe they could renounce their selves by saying, they wrote so fast that the CAPS went on, some times its happened to me, Dam! I think you kind of know after the second sentence

Modern-day internet protocol says typing in all-caps is like "shouting", but there's more to it than that. Studies show that after three words, it's actually harder to read. So the more you do it, the more you hobble your own attempt to communicate. Why would you want that?
There's more, at least here on CS Forums, and on many other media also. The same thing about harder-to-read goes for sans-serif fonts -- the ones without the little curlicues attached to each letter. You'll notice your original post, in all-caps, defaulted to a sans-serif font, while this lower-case font contains serifs.
So, the more you type in all-caps, the more you are making it difficult to get your point across, doubly.
Also, some folk consider it "shouting." But what do they know.

Do you find it easier to read when a piece of writing is all in capital letters?
Speaking as someone who has a particular type of dyslexia, I can see why some would find capital letters reduces words/letters 'moving', or some other visual illusions.
Lower case writing I often see as if its written over a mountain scape - some letters, or words appear far away and some close like a 3-dimensional map. I've not noticed this happening with writing in capital letters, now you've made me think about it.

Computing See also: Caps lock All caps typography was common on teletype machines, such as used by police departments, news, and the then-called Weather Bureau, as well as early computers, such as certain early Apple II models and the ZX81, which had a limited support for lower-case text. This changed as full support of ASCII became standard, allowing lower-case characters.
With the advent of the Bulletin board system, or BBS, and later the Internet, typing messages in all caps became closely identified with "shouting" or attention-seeking behavior, and is considered very rude.
As a result, netiquette generally discourages the use of all caps when posting messages online. While all caps can be used as an alternative to rich-text "bolding" for a single word or phrase, to express emphasis, repeated use of all caps can be considered "shouting" or irritating.
In programming, writing in all caps (possibly with underscores replacing spaces) is an identifier naming convention in many programming languages that symbolizes that the given identifier represents a constant.

I must amend my own post. Although posts to CS Forums appear in serif-rich Times New Roman while you are typing them, once posted they appear in a sans-serif font.

I don't think you want advice because the posters have asked you many times in the past not to write in caps. I think you want an opinion hoping someone will say it's okay to do it.
Perhaps Boban was right when he said you might be doing it to make sure we see your thread/post. We can see you, we know you wrote a post. When you write in all caps I ignore you because it's too hard to read.
I'm glad you wrote this thread so now you can finally learn if it's okay to write in caps all the time. Writing one word to show emphasis is okay but not every word. I hope you have learned what you wanted to know. The posters want to enjoy your threads but we can't do it if it's a problem reading what you write.
I used to write in Caps because it was easier and I didn't have to go back and fix all of the words that I missed the capital letter for(the letter"I" being the worst one for me). After I was told it was equivalent to shouting here on the Net, I quit doing it. Now I go through all of my typing to check for errors before I post.

I used to design databases for companies and find that a lot of companies want ALL data input by their staff to be only in upper case as it reduces mistakes, therefore many of those staff also write all their emails in upper case at work or at home.... it's not being rude it's just how they are trained.
So whenever you see someone write everything in upper case, ask yourself could this person be or have been a data entry employee....

I don't think it's fair to judge another for using all caps. That is petty & subjective thinking. I print in all caps just because it's much easier to read than lower case. Each person has their own style. I was accused once of "shouting" by using caps & was completely shocked that was what the other person thought, as that was NOT my intention at all & had never even occurred to me. Now, I only use caps if I want to EMPHASIZE a word.
From what I read online there are articles regarding typing in all caps that it's considered shouting but people are going to do what they're going to do.
