No, I think, the middle East may have all the wealth or something.
and maybe America is in huge financial debt or something.
and this is one way of taking what it needs to sustain itself.
but, you know, if you speak to a Leo star sign personality,
they will always say things like, I have 20 Arabian horses, when they only have 1.
they just like to seem to show off to me. I dont know why.

Ccincy: From the city on up All political figures lie or they wouldn't get elected. Some people are also conditioned by the mass media and are gullible to believe everything the media reports of what's really and truly taking place in other countries.

Maybe others should also visit these places to be enabled to speak with any authority on this issue? I'm just expressing opinion. However, most congresspeople voting on Obama's Syria policy have never been to Syria or even know who the opposition is composed of.

Accordingly left and right Media are strafing president Obama over Syria. U.S. press sees a good chance of failure in Syria with military action creeping, even escalating to a possible world war again.

Every President, and public official, is certainly subject to criticism. Why should president Obama be different? We (the USA) are not the police of the world. In my opinion, especially since NATO won't act, there is no moral justification existing today for putting more of our own people in harms way in Syria?

We need to stay out of other people's business. How many of hundreds of thousands of our veterans physical and mental capacities are devastated, ruined, during the recent conflicts; their care forgotten? Too many!

Maybe I'd think different if the world's leaders would actually put themselves out there on the front lines with the troops again.

Congress Members Who Have Seen Classified Evidence About Syria Say It Fails to Prove Anything
Posted on September 7, 2013 by WashingtonsBlog
Classified Syria Intelligence Fails to Prove Assad Used Chemical Weapons

The administration’s public case for chemical weapons use by the Syrian government is extremely weak, and former high-level intelligence officers say that publicly-available information proves that the Syrian government likely did not carry out the chemical weapons attacks.

The Obama administration claims that classified intelligence proves that it was the Assad government which carried out the attacks.

But numerous congressional members who have seen the classified intelligence information say that it is no better than the public war brief … and doesn’t prove anything...............

galrads: Do Americans want president Obama thinking about our interests period, especially where American and other lives are at stake? NO!

Most American think that this is a middle east country, let their
leaders kill their own.

But if this was a caucasian country like Germany or France
and their leaders killing their people, americans were supporting
an attack to save as many caucasian, but not middle east people.

This is a race thing.professor

France walks away from Obama

As one US ally after another refused to join President Obama in his ‘coalition of the willing’, pro-war advocates repeatedly fell back on the consolation, “At least France is with us.” Today, the French President changed that position. Now, they won’t be attacking and will reserve their decision until after the UN report is published.

In a Herald Sun report breaking the news only hours ago, the outlet points out that earlier this week the French government swore it had the evidence itself proving the Assad government used chemical weapons. Now, President Hollande has shelved that position in lieu of the anticipated UN inspectors report. “Yes, we will wait for the inspectors’ report,” he told reporters at the G20 Summit.

During his post-Summit press conference, President Obama looked worn and weary as he took question after question about Syria. At one point, he criticized a reporter for asking the exact same question that was asked five minutes earlier – would he attack Syria if Congress voted down his request? The President continued his refusal to answer that question......

For sure, if indiscriminate.

But also a precision bombing on an arsenal of chemical weapons could be devastating for civilians if those gases be dispersed.

I'm glad that the U.K. parliament, in August, voted against any intervention in the Syrian civil war.

Democrat, Dennis Kucinich: If Obama Goes Around Congress on Syria, He Risks Impeachment. Kucinich explained “there is no imminent or actual threat” from Syria, and said that in spite of Obama talking about what he thinks and what decision he wants to make, the decision needs to be decided by the elected representatives of the people.

Former Republican congressman Connie Mack agreed with Kucinich, adding that the lack of clarity from the Obama administration on their ultimate goal in Syria is very troubling.

I've often wondered why those who are for striking Syria (or anyone else), don't enlist in the U.S. armed forces and get more directly involved, instead of expecting others to sacrifice and tow their weight.

I agree with most of this.
The moral justification, they tell us, is that people, kids, were gassed. So it's ok to machine gun and bomb civilians and kids, napalm schools full of kids, that's morally ok enough not to intervene.
But so they use gas and that gets our dander up.

You can't blame Obama for what YOUR Congress decides.. LoL

Yuh, agreed Iran should be very nervous. Lots of stuff from them may be coming back home fairly soon. Announcing their intent (invitation) to be a participant in whatever comes may not have been their smartest move, but then Theocracies have always tended to say dumb stuff.. :)

Exactly..... According the the L.A. Times.... Syria's chemical weapons stockpile is safe from airstrikes.

"Syrian President Bashar Assad wields command over the world's biggest stockpile of chemical weapons, international security experts say, and he is expected to emerge from any punitive Western airstrikes with his arsenal intact.

Even if U.S. and allied intelligence have precisely located some of the stores of sarin, mustard or VX gas, analysts say, the likelihood of a successful airstrike is slim because of Assad's powerful air defenses and the risk of bombed chemical stores unleashing their deadly gases."

Maybe I should get my sons opinion(s) since he served in the Army for over 5 yrs and has been out of the Army since March of this year.I'm sure he would have some things to say about what really took place and the horror he and his prior Army buddies witnessed with their own eyes and ears. That would really put the Mass Media outlets to shame.

Whats wrong with you people??
These Syrians need to be saved. Assad is killing them with pensioned gas, and there is proof, Ive seen it many times on tv.

We cant let this continue, we have to stop these killings by dropping a few concentrated bombs on them.
And so, if some bombs drift off target and hit some homes, hospitals or whatever, its worth the risk.
And so, if the Russians and Chinese get pissed off and this turns into full blown nuclear war, so what?? We need to save these people, no matter what.
Even if they all end up dead, they will be saved!!

Thousands of People from countries all over the world gather in the country being threatened.
Noone would dare dropping bombs on that country having risk of killing those foreigners
