Paying a nominal amount to have that done would not be a problem for many . It would help the site attract advertisers as well which is what its all about .
Glatlol: When I joined here first I wasnt bothered if a person had a picture up or not. However I have found that every guy I was contacted by with no pic had something to hide, thats everyone without exception,so now its strictly, no pic, no reply.

And the reason they like the veils is because it gives them more control over the nature of their relations with men. I suspect that its similar to the reason some people prefer not to post photos on dating sites.

You are correct about scarf/hijab things. Men will treat them differently compared to women with hotpants. BTW, profile without picture is another matter.... It is not merely about physical attraction, but more and more aboutidentity...

I think it shouldn't be a requirement because some people sometimes just want to look around for a while before deciding that it's safe to show their pictures to other users, and I think that's cautious and understandable, BUT, I do think there should be a feature where members could confirm it's actually them on the pic if so they wish of course , though it doesn't mean that the rest of the things on the profile are true, one important thing would at least be true :) ... It has happened to me a lot here that I find many profiles with celebrity pictures on them, most people know who they are, but there are people who don't and those are the ones who could be prone to be fooled/spammed (assuming that the profile was meant to deceive).

I've gotta say this: There are far, far too many requirements/ordinances/laws about virtually EVERYTHING these days, if the club, or any club, for that matter, were to REQUIRE me to post a photo of myself, I wouldn't join. And, it's not that I may not want to--it's the idea of being "required". Society is stepping over people's boundaries way, way too much, and it is inappropriate. Demanding that I, or anyone else, do something just because another member is so convicted violates my right to MY choices. totally agree, besides people can post or send others anything as a picture. It doesn;t mean they are sending a real picture of themselves. If I want to to post a photo I will. If I were seriously interested in someone I probably would. A lot of people cannot post a photo because of their jobs. The site would lose a lot of members. If someone doesn't want to talk to those without photos then they have that choice...don;t talk. we'll choose to take the loss...lol

that's fine that is your choice. those without photos will assess that opinion and not care I guess. there are a number of things that will cause someone to contact or not contact another. the lack of a photo is simply another item on the list...
