Yes once a few years ago. We had a nice dinner up near a lake not far from here. Nice man but no "sparks" really. I think our personalities just did not have that "gel". Not from the forums. I 've never met anyone from the threads.

After nearly 9 years on here, I can tell you the vast majority are here to do nothing more than waste time, your's and their's. Many don't have any intention of ever meeting anyone, and they'll come up with any number of excuses as to why they can't/won't.
It's just the nature of the internet, it attracts all sorts, and many don't see this as real, just a virtual candy store. I think they've forgotten that there are real people behind those profiles, or maybe they never realised that, or perhaps some never really cared in the first place.
Just be forewarned, some will gossip about you, whether there's any truth to it or not. Just like a small town, they'll make it up if they have to, and come to a consensus, and spread it around. There are also those that will stab you in the back, when you thought they were your friend.
Be careful who you place your trust in.
