in the beginning of forums online it was very bad manners to call someones actual name in a forum
i am old fashioned like that
people get on people about typing in caps but many seem to want to display they are familiar with people and use their actual names
also in todays world with the identity theft its just not smart-
but these are just my opinions of course

I don't care if people call me by my name as long as it's not late to dinner but I will respect others desire to not have their names mentioned.

I always liked the one with you peeking out of the bushes the best, Dawn. I tried to do something like that, but the damn bush was a camera-hog and spoiled the picture. Some plants have such egos!

By the way, I've always enjoyed your photos as well. Dawn, for the life of me, I don't see how using your first name is a concern for identity theft.
There are so many easier ways if a hacker wants to get at your financial file.

Dawn, it happened to me again. Yesterday someone did a thread and I thought she was new on CS so I replied to her with support. Come to find that she's an old timer.
